yep the exact words from mixmag are
'DAFT PUNK, The crazt electro-loons who love to dress up as retro-futuristic robots, are hard working in Paris on their eagerly awaited third album. Progress is being kept a tight lipped secret, but an insider told mixmag it takes there sold in a new 'rocky' change of direction. Meanwhile check out their overpriced coffee table at Habitat. Its Daft!'
How cool, and yer the coffee table is over priced but cool as fuck

Good old mixmag, glad to see they are well up to speed with current afairs and that they have obviously done their homework by claming that the fourth!!!!! studio album will be their best.
Come on guys, why do u think everyone was talking about the album being called chemical 5??
Oh and Come with us didn't bum, i like it a lot, and golden path, people didn't get it?? Thats crap, to reach where it did in the charts is pretty respectable what with all this ja raule infectious mass produced shit all over the waves.
Come with us was a brae new direction, the chems most psycadelic i think.
Push The Critics.....off a cliff

My life is a boat, being blown by you. With nothing ahead, just the deepest blue... To me you're like a setting sun. You rise then you're gone.

Hold on, I thought underworld split :? I really need to keep up don't I.
that was just darren emerson who split away from rick and carl both the both still produce music. 100daysoff was first without darren, could have been better with his help but still quality stuff. hope that for the new one as well as this one might be their last
love is all.

Sorry to bump this, but we folks in the US don't get current issues of British magazines - so I've only just read the interview today.
The naked question was kind of silly, but I think the interviewer was just trying to have a bit of fun. The internet questions directed at Ed were pretty funny, good to see he's not the only one who googles Tom and Ed Chemical just to see what's floating out there. Oh, and they're looking foward to the final installment of Star Wars, that's cool. It seemed like Tom and Ed were in good spirits when doing the interview but what were they doing in a suana? A bit of a strange place to conduct an interview!
Anyway. I felt a little sad at parts when reading the interview, you know the bit about how they now feel about the U.S. And about Come With Us. It seemed like they really aimed to please with that record, and admitted to feeling hurt at all the negative responses it garnered. And the part about Golden Path - they were so proud and inspired by that track but it wasn't received that well. I don't know, it just made me want to give them a hug or something. I don't think they would've said anything if they weren't a little bothered by it...
Maybe I'm taking this personally, but I don't want them to feel like Come With Us was a lost cause or whatever. Even if it wasn't received well, it was a record they had to make. It was a crossroads in their career, I think every band with as many years under their belts comes up on a crossroads like they did. They wouldn't be where they're at now if it weren't for Come With Us!
I'm just blabbin. And thinkin too much into it, I'm sure.
What's cool is the positive attitude they have with their futures as musicians, and Push the Button, and how much they love South America!
I really can't wait to hear Push the Button, in its entirety, and in context!
