Then we saw
Tame impala. The sun was shinning, the stage was surrounded by trees, and they played an amazing set! They looked kinda on drug exept the drummer xD. Anyway they nearly used no keyboard, I didn't know you can produce such sounds with a guitar and some effects. They covered
Bonnie & Clyde by M. Gainsbourg and
Angel by massive attack =)
We had a long wait until the beginning of The chemical brothers show. I got impressed by the number of people who enjoyed Linkin park's gig. Some of them were nearly 30. Sometimes I wanted to say to them that they were not teenagers anymore...LP used Tom and Ed's led screen to show their boys-band faces on it.
We rushed at the front of the stage when LP gig was over. We were getting very excited as the crew were setting up the stage for the show..."Turn off your mind, relax, and float down stream, It is not dying, It is not dying"
Another World, this intro is fuckin beautiful!!! I love it so much!
Do it again
POWER POWER POWER POWER. The new segue between Horse power and chemical beats is awesome!(compared to what they played at "le zenith")
Huh Huh Huh Huh
Swoon
Star guitar, awesome
Here we gooooo
Don't think. It was so loud!!!!
Out of control
Setting sun
Saturate
Believe was so mental
Dot man
Superflash
Leave home
Block rockin beats!
No encore but Tom had a really great time messing with the Octave Kitten =) As a fan point of view, I think that the setlist is a bit too short but it's a festival setlist...
Ed didn't look very focused sometimes. They chatted a lot together during the show.
Anyway Chemicalmat and I had a really great time dancing and bouncing!!!
The negative point is that it was the worse crowd I have ever seen. Tom and Ed went close to the crowd several times, raising their hands in the air, clapping, but no reaction. People enjoyed the show only during hey boy hey girl and block rock
But what would you except after Limp Bizkit and Linkin park? They should have scheduled The chems, Underworld, Moby and Portishead the same day...
