Best Show Review Topic of 2011!
Krisper...you should be immortalized! And yet i'm completely overwhelmed by your pics, vids, and ALL the gigs you went to! Your 'Chemicalness' beats my 'Chemicalness! BIG TIME THANK YOU CHRIS AND GLENDA FOR SHARING THE ULTIMATE CHEMICAL EXPERIENCE (and good score @ the Seesounds and the new Tshirts)

Thanks to everyone for taking the time to read my little story, and for the nice comments. I guess I got a bit carried away. I don't know about beating your Chemicalness InChem, I think more like OCD on my behalf .
It's been 5 days now and the show is still going on in my head. My dreams even have a Chems sound track. Now back to my normally mundane life, trying to catch up on uni. Is there such a thing as Post Chems Depression?

bump cause it's an awesome read!
Embarrassed now, I was happy to let this slide down into the archives. I must say I have had some amazing "days" in my life, ie wedding day, birth of children and grandchildren, but that was one of the best "weeks" of my life. I can't wait to do it again.

Where did you buy this one? I want one too!!!
First spotted it at the Future Music festival in Brisbane, meant to buy one later, but forgot. Official merchandise at Melbourne side show didn't have them, so we thought they may have been a Future Festival shirt, but the side show at Sydney had them. Yay! Haven't seen them any where else.

Hey there's absolutely no reason for you to feel embarrassment at all!! Your story is great, it's personal, and you let us in on your adventure. It allowed me to experience the Australian gigs through your eyes even though I'm half a world away. That's huge.
The live section of this forum is my favorite little corner of the internet. The forum people will always talk about the shows but it would be great if more people would stop by and post on the forum after a gig. Reviews of their live shows - even if it's just a few quick sentences, or if it's just pictures and videos, even criticisms - these things are so important. When people take the time to say how a show made them feel, or how they reacted to a song, their favorite and least parts of the set - it shows an effort and willingness to share and clear a path for dialogue even if the conversation gets heated. It gives the Chems an idea of what to improve and what fans want. The adventure of how you got there and how you felt afterward is also as important. When I met Tom and Ed I was shocked (but not surprised) to find them so sincere in that they take the reviews and feedback on their live shows to heart. They like to please their fans and are pleased to hear what we think of their shows. Now there's more ways for fans to communicate through the twittersphere and facebook and all that which is awesome. But posting about it on the forum has always been and always will be special.
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle
