you can now listen to the full album version of the charlatans 'feel the pressure' produced by tom and ed. you can also hear every track from the forthcoming charlatans 'up at the lake'. just point your browser to the charlies web site, http://www.thecharlatans.net. just sign up your personal details and enjoy!!!
this is obviously a mix that tom and ed done that more inkeeping to the charlatans style!!! it is not the version tom and ed have been playing in their dj sets. i'm sure that when this track get released as a single that there will be a few different version, like toothache!!

Listening now... OK, my son's dancing. That's always a good sign! :D
This is a really rockin tune, very foward pace with a nice driving, solid rhythm. The Charlatans are a tight band and this song is no exception to the Charlies rule. The break in Pressure is nice with the twinkly keys. I like the variation in Tim's voice from his falsetto to just belting it out. From reading their messageboard, I know there was a lot of criticism of Tim's somewhat recent acquisition of a falsetto voice (i.e. Wonderland -fresh in my mind, was listening today) but I think it works really with the energy of the song. Of course the production on this is second to none, very clean and polished, has a lot of depth. I'll be sure and listen to the rest of Up at the Lake!!
Nicely done Charlies and Chemicals!

I hate signing up to things, it was a struggle to sign up to here but I forced myself to do it. I think i'll just wait till it's released, I got plenty of new music to keep me occupied at the moment
i know what you mean, but then again i don't mind to signing up to the charlatans!! you could always try and download it of some p2p network. seems universal music have got there house in order. they leaked 'up at the lake' on the internet. if you download any tracks you just get a snippet of the tune looped up for a few minutes. clever bastards making fake tracks!!! i hope someone does that with chemical 5. 'come with us' was spoiled for me by downloading it early.

well i have had a few days to digest this. what a track!!! and a darn fine album!!!
bit that stand out. the bass line sounds really pronounced, did peter hook inspire the chems to push that bass a bit more after the 'hear to stay' collabaration??? i love the oo oo oo oo's at the begining. kinda got a bit of an old school sampling vibe to them!!! the druming at the end i thought was gonna explode, but the tune stops. i hope when it comes out on single there is an extended mix of this track. that druming needs to explode and go off on one!!!
