Actually I don't see any "hard" artist on this line-up.

DubStep folk are pretty down and dirty. I assume, though, you're referring to the hilarious genre of "metal" or "hard rock." Pretty good if you're into comedy. Whenever I need a laugh I always throw some Metallica on.

Dubstep is slow and fucking boring as hell ! You can't call it "hard", this is hard :

Roses are red
Violets are blue
And I will rape
Each one of you

In Athens (Georgia) to visit with my girlfriend. Funny thing is, second day I'm here and R.E.M. splits up. Is it a sign?

Never the less, Got to see Bonobo play a DJ set last night at the New Earth Music Hall. Great first half of set, second half not so much.

So scientists are saying neutrinos (those freaky particles that made the world end in 2012) may be able to travel faster than light, going completely against what we currently know about physics. If confirmed, this could turn the entire field on its head and, possibly, reveal holes in the theory of relativity.
The only question now is what will come out of these holes when they get too big.

Have fun in NYC, Charco! It's an amazing, bustling city, the great American melting pot and when you're there you can't help but feel you are a part of something larger than life. I haven't been there in ages, lots has changed in 20 yrs but some things remain the same in that there are a million things to do - the museums, central park, the stores, the food.. It's gonna be grand!

I called in sick today! Looks like the flu got a hold me before everyone else! I have half of the symptoms shown above! I was pretty much trying to fight it for the last 2 days, but no luck!

And the funny thing about it all is that I was suppose to get my flu shot this weekend! Damn immune system! Couldn't you wait til at least Saturday!

I can see Tom saying to me 'Nice one Phil!' ;)

I am home sick today with the flu, too! But I got my flu shot on Saturday. My immune system must have been compromised to begin with because I never get the flu when I get my shots.

It's a creeping illness. You think you're just a little sick and then it hits you like a ton of bricks out of nowhere.

I started getting sick Monday night but I went to work yesterday and wanted to tough it out since I have Thurs and Fri off for vacation. I am bummed I missed work today, because the loose ends will be waiting for me next week and I hate leaving my workmates short a person. But come 6am, I just couldn't do it. I reached over my nightstand and grabbed my phone, texted my boss then went back to sleep until I had to rouse Connor out of bed for school. A couple hours later after some weird fever dreams I woke up in my son's bed. I could have sworn I went back to my room but... I must have been totally out of it.

Anyway, double dosed on the elderberry extract and B vitamins, and hopefully this evening I'll be feeling a little less undead.
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

Hang in there! 'cough' 'cough'

Kind of sucks being confined to the bed while the only thing in plain sight is either the ceiling, or the medication on the bedside table!

I haven't made any trips to the bathroom yet!

And it's only September..........it's not even flu season! WTF!

Anyone want to join the flu orgy!

Get better Whirls! Go get some rest! Hope you feel much better soon!
