oh man, I hated Interstella... we actually had a promo copy that we sold... no amount of chronic made it bearable.

I've only watched it once and thought it wasn't bad. Y'know, not a proper anime, but a different way of listening to music, really. I guess if you don't like Disxcovery, it would be quite tedious.

I dunno if it was because they're french, or because it's house music, but I'm convinced that prolonged exposure would cause a man to 'move to Brokeback Mountain', if you know what I mean.

X-D

It's bad enough the music scene comes, to a large degree, from black homos, but French homos? I agree, that would be just too much! X-D (pas vraiment, les Francaises!)

Not to throw this thread further off course, but is the Animatrix worth watching? I've had it on DVD for over a year and still haven't watched it.

And I've always wanted to watch the Neon Genesis Evangelion series, but never have gotten around to it.

Discovery is good. It's all recycled tunes but it's recycled in a good way. But Homework is really their best work.

Stash, what's wrong with France ? :D

dude, there's absolutely nothing wrong with France.... I'd trade everything I own to live in a one room garret in Montmarte, or a tiny cottage in Provence, I envy your food, your wine, your literature and your cinema, but your pop music... sigh, but your pop music... there's a certain je ne sais quoi about your pop music that makes me think of men who love men.

I thought about Vegas to be honest, but wasn't sure anyone would be up for it, given time constraints.

I love vegas, in theory, but the only gamble I ever won in Vegas was marrying Whirly.

If we decide that we REALLY wanna go 'OH FUCK, I BLEW A BUNCHA MONEY I COULD HAVE SPENT ON DRUGS (or music, liquor, etc... (that reminds me, we'll ahve to hit ameoba))' then we can go give our money to the red man.

Awwwwwww....... that's sweet!!!! :D

I'm open-minded either way. Vegas would be cool, but not essential. Vegas appeals more than TJ ever did, but there's tons of shit to do otherwise anyways.

There's a couple of really big Native American Reperations Centers (AKA CASINOS) within an hour drive of us... if we have to, we can hit that shizzy... they're very near vegas nowadays.

Yeah I'd do anything to have british pop music, Ninja Tune stuff, instead of crappy french pop and r'n'b.

Talking about gay music ... "Getting gay, the kids are here !" I'm watching South Park episode where they are on a trip to Costa Rica :D

Anyway, I think the organizers of Coachella had to make a real BIG cheque to Thomas and Guy Manuel to get them out of their hole...

Probably why they couldn't get too many other big acts as sub-headliners.

Damn you Thomas and Guy Manuel for ruining Coachella! :D

Yeah but I bet it's worth it... Even on DJ Set they are really good. And if they ever do a Live set ... god I wouldn't miss that for all the world...

Im pretty sure its gonna be a live set.....they're even talking mainstage for them, instead of leading the sahara tent.

Man this will hard for me to let it pass by. This might be their final performance they ever do. Considering they never ever tour.

Yeah, people on the Coachella board are saying they had a hard time seeing the Prodigy in the Sahara Tent after NIN on mainstage last year and missed 15 minutes of the Prodigy set.

To that I say: morons! I watched and heard every note of the Nine Inch Nails set and not only fought my way through the ridiculously dense crowd to the Sahara Tent in time to hear 'Swastika Eyes' over the PA while final set-up was done, but also made it to centre, first five rows by the time they played 'Wake Up Call' for their second tune.

Granted the Prodigy show was more of a riot than a club-style dancing experience and I don't think that would go over with Daft Punk fans too much, but if you want to see someone, you'll make it happen.

I'd mosh at a Daft Punk show.

Jeanie's friend is not of age, though... Unless she has a fake Dutch ID! :P

I'd be up for it no matter what we decide to do (except TJ).

Disneyland would be cool too on a weekday. I plan on taking the Friday off but Monday and/or Tuesday might be stretching it for me because that's when we're busiest.

A few things are certain:

drinking

moon bounce livingroom

drinking

barely any sleep

drinking

Taco Loco

drinking

Hi-Time Cellar

drinking

herbage

possible geek sessions involving music/xbox

drinking

Amoeba

drinking

rehab
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle
