Equinoxe, in this case could we state that the sun is... somehow... rare, then?

eeeeee.... summer. not that i like school at all, but ill be at a record low for outside human contact this summer, of course there will be no festivals/concerts in my reach all summer (FUCK YOU MEMPHIS!!!), no one knows me well enough to invite me to any parties or anthing, and i have no group of friends that i can habitually hang out with; i seriously and realistically doubt that ill do a single social thing this summer. Sorry to darken the mood, but my summer's going to suck. The only good thing will be that ill have time to learn how to use all the music software that ive pirated (reason 3.0, acid pro 5, sonar 4). Oh, yeah, i am going on one trip this summer, rome from the 13-18 of june.

No firm plans for summer yet other than to roll a fat blunt and put on Screamadelica.

I'm still waiting for Tom & Ed to announce further tour dates.....

A balanced diet of Chemicals and chemicals will do wonders for one's summer, I think.

not really. it's always said that all people die in warsaw in winter ;-) but warsaw -as it's capital- is quite east of poland and west and south are quite warm areas. the north has fantastic beaches and real warm summers

seem to be some nice areas there... however, the cities sometimes still loke like they've used to in socialistic times. it will take some more decades to have them renewed

My father did some business in Poland a few years back, and my mother flew out to visit him. My father was really fascinated with Poland for a while.

From the pictures they showed me, some parts of Poland they visited were really quite beautiful. The cities did have that Eastern Block industrial feel with the architecture, like Golden Boy said, like they were sort of stuck in time.

My parents also got a lot of amber jewelry there, I guess Poland is one of the main places where it comes from. Really gorgeous pieces of amber, not that heat treated stuff that's made in labs. And silver - got lots of silver from Poland (a lot of it is hand sculpted around the amber they brought home.) Really beautiful, unique pieces.
