Definitely my fave show of the year content wise. Note to ALL folks ever going to a show at Brixton...go to the front...there was ACRES of space!!! I was with Acid and chemicalfan right at the front. Was a good crowd on Saturday. I got in for £15 eventually! Yay!

Big highlight for me was Das Spiegel...waited ALL summer to hear that...loved seeing Tom playing that electric clarinet thing along to it too (sorry cant remember the name of the instrument). And Nude Night...OMG! And Sunshine UG...bloody amazing as always.

I was off getting me coat during Golden Path then heard those immortal words...'you are all my children now'...eeeeek I panicked...Luckily I had a Circle ticket in my pocket so was able to get to the balcony in time to catch the clown smiling away in his endearingly evil way mwaa haa haaa...shame it didnt become Acidchildren?/EBW7 but an extremely good version of Chemical Beats more than made up for it...second note of warning...DONT try to dance on the staircase of the balcony near the edge!!! Very scary indeed :(

Twas lovely to see the crew as always. Sorry I had to shoot off straight after the show. Hope everyone got home ok. Did have something else to say but have forgotten right now.

Have fun in the ticket scrum tomorrow morning for Olympia.

Thanks so much you guys and dolls! Seems incredible the way a Brixton Chems show is always incredible. At least from where I'm sitting! It's hard to imagine them getting better and better each time when they're the ultimate to begin with. Nice!

This old man,
he play beats,
He don't need no music sheets,
but with a snip-snip-snippy-snip
gave his mop a chop,
Old man hairstyles are a flop.

One hell of a progression from the first time I saw them nearly 12 years ago supporting the Prodge on the very same stage! But I still hold that first show very dear...such a wee set up back then and only Black & White visuals...but was at the front for BOTH shows :-)

Bring on Olympia!

Still having lots of fun listening to Galvanise with the dirty acid line on it - sounds so awesome!

I was there for Fri and Sat, came all the way from NYC. Unbelievable and unforgettable.

Would love to get an mp3 of either gig. Anyone know if one exists yet and where?

Thanks to those in UK for being good hosts!
