Hey Darkstar, that breaks room is where it's at - at least when we went out clubbing. ;) Good times oh yeah... It so much more varied than the trance tunes being churned out. I mean, trance is OK to kind of loosen up a bit and get a feel for a club or whatever, but it sounds so samey after a while. And breaks sure as hell are a lot more fun to dance to.
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

Spundae is exactly what I had in mind. And yeah, you're right, I can't jump into crazy dancing with breaks right away, but watching the light/lazer show in the trance room got me in the mood.... then that smoking hot DJ dropping GYH in the breaks room and that was my night set.

Kraty Kuts is still doing some good stuff imho. I can understand the connection with between the brothers and the plumps to a certain extend but I dont think I have ever seen them take it as hard and twisted as tom and ed do :)

NO IDEA!

WEDNESDAY 9TH NOVEMBER

MEDICINE BAR 89 GREAT EASTERN STREET, SHOREDITCH

9PM - 2AM

5 (MINIMUM DONATION) / CHARITY EVENT - NO GUEST LIST

FEATURING:

TOMMY LEE (MOTLEY CRUE) - LIVE DRUMS!

ADAM FREELAND

PLUMP DJ?S

EVIL NINE

DJ AERO

Next Wednesday night will see one of the world?s rock legend drummers jamming alongside a back2back mash-up from the world?s most respected beat DJ?s in what will be an historic event.

All artists on this unbelievable line up will be performing free of charge for what will be an adrenaline-fuelled night of mayhem!

Why? they are teaming up with charity ?Our World, Our Say? who are campaigning to raise awareness of and appose the ID Cards Bill and the National Identity Register which is being pushed through parliament right now.

The bill is a gross infringement of human rights, opens up massive possibility for identity fraud, and will cost us over 300 per person! To sign up to help fight the proposed bill go to www.owos.info

"Opposing the ID Cards Bill &the National Identity Register is something I feel strongly about. Not only is it an infringement on our basic human rights (privacy and discrimination), I just don't want my identity on one central database which could potentially be hacked. I don't want to show my fingerprint scan every time I make a transaction. I don't want the government to spend at least 19 billion of our money on a scheme that clearly won't hinder terrorism. I want the right to keep my identity to myself. I don't want to live in a Police state, which is where we are rapidly going unless we speak out and oppose these bills, which quietly take away our rights one at a time. I'd like to fight to hang on to this thin veil of western democracy while I can before we all become like epsilons from an Aldous Huxley novel." Adam Freeland - organiser.

The Medicine Bar is a small venue and this is a Big Line up. Get there early to avoid disappointment. All proceeds go to the cause, so if you can donate more than 5 it would be greatly appreciated.
