I was looking on the net for tabs for U2 songs, just to know the notes, and then I tried searching for "chemical brothers tabs" and here they are :)

What are tabs? Gp3 files?
E(argasm) = m(usic) x c(hemicals)²

No Csar , Tabs are songs written out.

SO for example , if i wanted to learn how to play Alive Alone on my guitar , i go to one of these websites , and i can read there how to play the song. Tabs usually have the melody lines and stuff. Its a bit complicated to look at , but basicly , it shows when to put youre fingers and when to pick it and all that stuff. Or for the piano , same thing , or bass guitar.

I have no idea how to read tabs , i usually just read the chords

A E G D u know. I cant even read notes X-D

i think its maybe 50/50 - sometimes there right and sometimes there just plain wrong.

i tend to use them as a guide more than anything.

Tabs are funny and free, but if they are correct... No way

There also tablature books for sale. Usually for a album or greatest hits etc. Those are correct. And if there is someone who put that tablature on a site than they are correct. But homemade Tabs....

I've come across quite a few official tab books that don't sound right....i agree with mippio and take it as a guide. Tab is pretty easy to read one you understand it. It tells you the string(horizontal) and the fret number(vertical) to play and in official tab books if you understand music notation they give you the rhythm as well.

the three-note refrain and break down 8)
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.
