In April their live was cancelled here in Brazil. Now ppl are talking about a new date, in december, in the worst festival ever (Ultra Music Festival), with ppl you'll never want to hang out with (ppl don't like music in there) and with a shitty soundsystem. Shame on me. Instead of a exclusive live with a good sound, i'll be forced to go there and come back home very sad...

I know that kind of came across as bitchy... But when I see a negative attitude over something that hasn't happened yet, I don't know, it just seems a bit selfish. Maybe something is just lost in translation. But I think of you Champi or whitenoise who haven't had the opportunity to see the Chems yet, or the Canadians who have been waiting for nearly a decade - and posts like that are frustrating..

I know it sucks the Brazil show was canceled, that blows real hard no doubt - and maybe the Ultra music fest isn't ideal. But if it happens, surely there are a ton of Brazilian fans so this an opportunity for them to get out and enjoy the Chems, rock out and show the average festival goer what it's like to party at a Chemical Brothers show...

Yup. I've been on this forum for 6-7 years, but I haven't had an opportunity to see the Chems live yet. So, if Ultra was close by to where I lived and I had the money, then I would definitely jump on tickets. I certainly wouldn't be pissed enough to go on here and complain about it.

Wait a minute!

Champ, WN, and Probass haven't seen them live?

I'm such a ingrateful bastard!

Here I am, bitching about encore's, set-times, and among other things, when I hang my head down in shame and should consider others who haven't gone and see our beloved band!

For those who haven't seen them, I only have one thing to say.....Ha Ha!

Just kidding ;)

Seriously, If you guys ever come to California for their shows, I'll help in any way with your stay!

As for the OP.....good luck!

Same here! I'd do what I can to help out too.

And yes good luck to the original poster as well. I hope the cancelled show gets rescheduled at some point, and that nobody goes home disappointed!

I'd even go to what might be the worst festival ever to see the Chems live (if there was no other option) and I say that even though festival gigs don't really count IMO ;)
love is all.
