I was thinking of bumping the old daft punk vs chemical bros threads for fun. Thats some of the most fun i've had on here, watching people argue over such a sensitive subject. Ahhhhh, but alas, it would be too evil. ;)

I just love them both so much, Daft at Lollapalooza was amazing, but I'd say The Riv, with The Chems was by far the better of the two!

I'd kill to see them both, same stage, maby even together? That would be so collosal...my goodness, I'm getting exicted just typing it!

one thing that I hate about the Daft Punk live is their encore. And I'm not talking about the tron suits (those are fucking tight). I'm talking about that damn "Together" vocal. You would think they would save the best for last, but thats not the case. They give you the most repetitive, awful vocal, song ever.

I haven't heard this encore but Together (the original) is great!

The chems & daft punk playin together. I cant see good things coming out of that. Chems are more psychedelic while daft punk is more...well...french house lol. Its like seeing crystal method and fatboy slim together. Two popular artists, two different styles of electronica. You dont hear of many electronica artists getting together on collabs. Unless its from the same genre like simian and justice, or dilinja and usual suspects (dnb).

Personally I would like to see Tom & Ed take Daft Punk on in a WWF tag team championship match? Daft Punk would have to be the “bad guys” due to them been French and wearing silly robot masks but I reckon they would be more than capable of putting up a good fight. I think they would try and use under handed tactics to try and win but in the end the chem’s would just use their superior fighting skills and double team them and emerge victorious to retain their gold championship belts. It could even be a steel cage match and put on sky box office. Who needs Ricky Hatton v Floyd Mayweather when you can have “superstar DJ’s” trading blows
