I believe Eve was supposed to lay some vocals for Hot Acid Rhythm (to be used in the Blade II soundtrack) but things didn't work out or something or other. Maybe that's why the version we have is titled Hot Acid Rhythm 1.

if i remeber correctly the chemical brothers got sent a tape of eve rapping over hot acid rhythm one. it wasn't a collaboration they had arranged, its just something they got sent. although why it never got to see the light of day i don't know. wasn't it ment to appear on an film soundtrack??

yeah but thats the strange thing they get the tape by supprise, tell the world about it. gonna be included on an film soundtrack and be a b-side to future single. and then disapears into thin air. the brothers are secretive about their projects, i would have thought if they told the world then it would be finished. maybe a last minute change of heart, who knows
