Congratulations Pooter. If I'm ever in California and get busted for something naughty, I know who to contact.
Presumably there's a special offer of Pro Bono for forum members in need. :P

I refuse to make money off of members of this forum. :) I'll always be here to help, with any luck.

It was the last thing I needed to do to become an attorney in the state of California.

Give me all the moneys.

Wohoo! Congratulations!

BBC 6 Music is celebrating the 80th birthday of Robert Moog this week playing tons of electronic music and having lots of interviews (here's one with Ralf Hutter from last saturday => CLICK).

I'm looking for fan made extended versions of chemical brother tracks because I really like longer versions. I guess that is why I am such a big Orbital fan :P

Might do an extended version of The Boxer using stuff from the 50/50 mix and possibly DFA, if you like.

I think its probably true. Fair do's. If they werent coming up with anything or didnt want to then its best. At least its not going to be an ugly one. Everything has been a bonus anyway. Nobody thought it would ever happen and it resulted in one of the best gigs i have ever been to. After all the legal/financial catastrophe's that lot suffered then its great that they finally got the reward, i know it shouldnt be about the money but they deserve it. For all the crtical accolades and love for the band, it must have been hard to not really get paid for it knowing that lots of people liked them.
But it wasnt about that, if it was they would have reformed years ago.

^Yeah I got to see them at Finsbury Park last year- finally. So that made it worthwhile for me. I don't think they really played the USA apart from a couple of festivals. So if it's true, I feel sorry for any American fans who wanted to see them but didn't get the chance.
Having watched the Shane Meadows 'Made Of Stone' film recently, they did have 'Newie' on their setlist chalkboard in rehearsals, though that never materlialsed at the gigs. Part of me is curious to hear anything new they may have come up with, and part of me thinks: if it was crap it might be best not to bring down the overall quality. There's always the fear that a band making a comeback will release new stuff that's crap...

As a dutch person I apologise for us being so racist. I guess it's a remnant from our colonial/entrepreneurial era... We did however manage to reduce the size of our xenofobe party and the dutch media (rightfully) portray them as the big losers of this election because they used to be bigger.
You forget the "non-racist" UKIP in your list which might be worse than the dutch PVV who at least supports gay rights/freedom of expression in some sense.
I voted for the dutch greens, who are slightly bigger but still way too small. Nearly voted pirate but they didn't stand a chance and don't have the environmental focus. Earth > Economy.
