Ahahaha!! Yeah, true. Shrooms to trip on aren't exactly stir fried crimini in the taste department. But you mix them in with ramen or make a strong mint tea and they're easier to chug. Still, I think absinthe tastes so freakin bad. There's no way around it. The taste is so bad it's enough to turn me off from ever wanting to drink it again.

I've yet to try absinthe but it's one of those things that has always made me curious. Maybe for my birthday next month...

Just a question - how do u guys prefer to eat youre schrooms ? Ive never done them , but i know someday i will , and i just wanna know how to eat so they are not so discusting! ( I dont like mushrooms at all , not even the normal ones! )

Speaking of Shrooms they're so fu*king hard to get in the UK now. They were made 'Class A'. I was so devistated. I sometimes go picking but it's just not the same as the mexican ones we used to get from the shops :(

Best way to get your shrooms down, IMO, is to chop them up, because they're gonna be tough and leathery, dice them into small, tiny little bits, put them in your mouth and wash them down with water, like you were swallowing a pill.

Personally, I just chew them. No pain, no gain.

There are many ways to make tea, but I've read reports that high heat can destroy some of the active ingredients. Not a big deal if you've got a hundred fricken grams like whirly and I had, but potentially bad if you only have a little.

Hell, I even knew someone who'd mince them up and put them on peanut butter sandwiches.

you can also throw them in a fruit smoothy.

I hear peanut butter sandwich is indeed good. I like the mince into pieces then wash with water idea. Usually I just chew and swallow. It's nasty, but the reward is worth it.

hahaha! i used to the do the same with the dry ones - i have no problems with regular shrooms, but those dried ones - i just couldnt stand the smell - so i used to chop them into tiny pieces and take ages to down them with water.

freshly plucked ones are not a problem at all - they don't smell or taste anything - totally tasteless if it's cubensis - the best way if u have quite a quantity i discovered was making a nice stuffed omlette and when done just put the shrooms in the omlette (don't cook with the omlette - like stash pointed - heat destroys the psylocibin), and enjoy u'r yummy magic omlette.

also when we used to have LOADS, we used to make tea - infact we used to boil em thrice and do have three teas to extract the maximum possible magic.
