I loved Star Guitar first time I heard it. For me it the song = pure good. It's such an intensely blissful song, I just couldn't comprehend it for the first few listens.

I also didn't like HBHG when I first heard it. I was a fan of the funky beats of DYOH and when I heard their new single I thought it was crap. But over time I grew to like it, and now I love the track (especially the live version on the DVD). Same with IBIA, I hated that tune. It just didn't work for me. Then I heard GT start off his set with the extended mix in the Boiler Room and went absolutely nuts. From then on it's become an awesome tune for me.

Everything off the first two albums I fell in love with instantly. But alot of stuff from Surrender onwards I haven't liked at first and have had to give time to like it. I now love anything and everything on Surrender and CWU, and I'm sure PTB will be the same.

I think so much depends on when and how you first heard it.

I remember listening to HBHG a few years ago when I didn't know anything about the chems - I was very intruiged at how weird the track was with all these weird voices, but it was right up my street. 8)

Me too, all those psychadelic qualities that have the makings of an epic track. The Chems have "epic" down to a science.
