Accidentally played this with the sound off; I thought the video was silent. It was very serene watching her twirl about with nothing playing in the background.

Hypothetically speaking, I have been cheated on and it terrible. And there is a point to be made about inviting drama into one's life.

I am one, however, for allowing personal responsibility to reign. If you are taking care of all of your responsibilities and are not putting someone else under duress by pursuing your desires, you are free to pursue said desires. You have no responsibility to someone else's marriage.

I can't say either way at the moment what I would choose if, hypothetically, an opportunity like this arises.

I agree with Whirls as well!

I never fuck with any couples that are married, even if the girl has a weakness of sorts. I also tend to stay out of people's biz. I can't come to think that I could be responsible for not just screwing the chick, but also screwing the marriage, and in some case, screwing the entire family with kids involved.

And if you ask me, I think Pooter's gonna do it anyway, even though I think he should avoid it at all costs.

EXCUSE ME! These are hypothetical situations we're talking about here!

:ugeek:

I don't know why that emoticon seemed appropriate.

Moving on. Trying my damndest to see Orbital tomorrow. Really, really want to, but it's a matter of how much I'll want to pay. And I may get someone down to at least $50, hopefully $40.

Anyway, in other news.

My friend is divorcing his wife. He's coming to crash at my place for a few days starting tomorrow night. His wife is fucking crazy. It will be entertaining (in a bad way) tomorrow helping him move some stuff out. We may have to call the police. Ohboi!

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Heeheehee.

You are correct, sir.

And it's fine, you can lurk. Just say hi once in a while. I tell the stalker outside my window the same thing.

  • Ottawan - Hands Up
  • Phil Collins - In The Air Tonight
  • Joe Dolce - Shaddap You Face
  • Roland Kaiser - Lieb mich ein letztes Mal
  • Shakin' Stevens - This Ole House
  • Bucks Fizz - Making Your Mind Up

Re Band Aid, as it happens on a friend's birthday We are The World by USA for Africa was number 1, which I think was the American response.

Something that brought me down yesterday and showed me that I do get old is the fact that one of my favourite parfumes is no longer in production :(. I'll have to savor the last drops that are left...

Speaking of old, I have been helping my parents move and get situated in their new digs, which are close to me now - about a 10 minute drive. A decade ago they got a wild hare up their collective backsides and decided to move out to a remote area (horse country) and shack up on a nice hunk of land. A property that was far away from everyone and everything. Including family and doctors. Now they are getting on in years, they just aren't as mobile as they used to be, and being isolated and away from family... Let's just say they missed out on a ton of stuff in those 10 years. This move 'back home' was very, very hard on them. My folks were always very organized, but this move has them and everything they own scattered about. There was a sense of finality helping them pack and store away some of their things they have no intention of ever seeing again. Not in this lifetime. Things that were once treasures on display.

But anyway. One thing I know from watching them is I hope I never have a reason to pack up all my crap and move when I am approaching my mid-70's. Just thinking about it makes me feel older than I am!

I obviously hate the Black Eyed Peas but there's absolutely no similarities between the three tracks here...
