I love it!

I love the hiccoughing (?) synths during the whole song, Tim's hoarse voice, and the overall production of the song. Like other people said above, it's very DYOH, but 2k5 DYOH. Really catchy in my opinion, it would make a good single.

DYOH??? You compare this to DYOH???How dare You!!!! :x DYOH was nothing but uncomercial, psychedelic, breakbeat, undergrund, veeeeery strange and beautiful in his dirt thing!!!! The Boxer is just a poppy song with a standard vocal and normal boring beat. What is like DYOH in it for You???? :?

You're a funny fella y'know equinoxe! Not quite sure what planet you're from dude! lol X-D

After 3 minutes it really gets of the ground, but the first three minutes don't really do anything for me.

Jeez equinoxe, settle down!!

Don't you think most of us here recognize the genius of Dig Your Own Hole, or do you take us for a bunch of stupid bastards?

Get ahold of yourself, man. Maybe innerwatch heard some Dig Your Own Hole elements in the Boxer, what's wrong with that? Maybe he's able to draw parallels between Chems records, lots of people do that you know. Obviously you don't have that ability since your ears have been plugged up since 1997...

I talking only about this, that DYOH is just something other then the Boxer (with all album). DYOH representing different style in all ways than the newest album. Did You noticed any breakbeat on Push the Button????Because all DYOH is breakbeat itself. If Boxer is similar to DYOH than i'am from Mars. Anyway i don't say the Boxer is bad. It's just something different, normal music.

Well, Slow is more similar to DYOH than Boxer. Anyway, the fact is, nothing after the DYOH and BGWIO albums are really similar to DYOH style. It's mad, and don't consolate yourself guys, the days of DYOH never come back. For one's it's good, for another's it's really bad. For me it's really bad. :(

Maybe He just consolate himself, because better is the new album than none album. Something is better than nothing.

8O I was taking the piss mate!

For the record, I think comparing stuff is good as it helps put things in perspective. There is a BIG difference between saying "X is similar to Y" or "X reminds me of Y", and saying that "X is exactly the same as Y"

Every man and woman constitutes 22 pairs of chromosomes plus one pair that is the difference between them; these are the sexual chromosomes X and Y.

Men have the chromosomes pairing of XY and women have the pairing of XX.

That's what you were on about yeah?

X-D iggy!

Sory I may have gotten my panties in a twist with my comments equinoxe, it just seems you flew off the handle there. The great Dig Your Own Hole Defender!

I see absolutely nothing wrong with finding similarities between one Chemical Brothers record and another Chems record. (not to mention, that's not quite the same as making flat out comparisons. either) Personally I find it amazing that their music and the sounds within each record maintain a level of consistancy, yet each record creates a vastly feel and soundscape from one record to the next. To me hearing these parallels and given and ear to what other people are hearing offers me a new perspective - it doesn't mean I'm not enjoying the music for what it is, just means I'm hearing it in a different way. If anything, when someone says "oh I heard a little bit of this older Chems song in this new Chems song" it's going to open up my ears to something I might've missed the first few listens.

Oh well...
