Damn, chem'd up I wish there was something I could do to help!!
I think you should listen to ACID. At least meet up with everyone at Weatherspoons and head on out to Turnmills. If all else fails and nobody's offered you a ticket beforehand, try your luck outside the club. Please you have to do this, you are already half way there with the flight. You will regret it if you don't at least try.

I just called turnmills, the guy on the phone said it has sold out, however he said to call at some point tomo as its likely that some will of been returned, he also said that people maybe be trying to sell there tickets in the line if they have spairs.
Its a risk, but I would personally take it if I were in your shoes.........
..........sorry i mean sneakers ;-)

chem'd, I am holding out hope that you'll find yourself with a golden ticket somehow, some way. But... if worse comes to worse and god forbid you can't get a ticket, would you be able to change to an earlier flight?

Here is a post that this thread reminded me of. It was from a thread Biff started a while ago called 2 for 2. It is inspiring, especially the last sentence:
Biff Escribi:
Last night was when the chems to DJed in my area. I started out the night by seeing kill bill (which was very strange in a bad way) after that I went to the Mezzanine (the club) and that took me about 18 million tries to find the damn street followed by a parking spot. I finally found the place, which was pretty much down an alley and there was a small line. The whole trip up to this point was a living hell but I was beating the odds (by not killing and of those annoying fucking homeless people who are trying to get made by darting out in the street so someone will run them over), so I go to the door and they're checking IDs. Being a reasonably good person I didn't have a fake one, if I wasn't 21 in a few months, I'd go out and find or make one this morning. I tried minor persuading which needless to say was like talking to a brick wall who deals with people like me a lot I'm guessing.
So there it is, my second attempt to see the chems failed, but at least this time I actually made it by the door, I could hear the bass from inside the club and the works. I cannot say I am mad (especially compared to when they played live here and I missed it because my friend) or even too shocked since I knew it was a 21+ club, but at least I know that I was there at the door with a ticket and a now half-full tank of gas. Could've been worse, I could've been back at home studying wondering, "what if I could've gotten in," and I answered that $20 question, "no chance in hell"

but....what if i go, dont get a ticket, say bye to everyone at the door of the club and go get the tube back to heathrow and spend new years asleep on a bench in the airport until my flight!

Well man, you need to ask yourself if this is a risk you are willing to take! If I were in your shoes, I would jump on it and take a chance. I don't think anyone would think less of you if you didn't go - you have to weigh the odds... you are in a hell of a pickle. I am telling you from experience, the regret of not taking a chance would weigh much heavier on your mind than having tried your best only to end up sitting on a bench at Heathrow. If you gave it your all and couldn't make it to Turnmills, at least you would have given it your best shot. It's all you can do at this point.
