DON'T DO IT MAN!

seriously, they gheyed that up so badly... the only cool part of the movie is supposed to be the part that's done in first person, and if you want that, just get the game.

I got a job working for a site that auctions off seized and forfeited goods by police departments around the U.S.. It works sort of like ebay, but with accountability. It's sort of like a giant yard sale, there's all sorts of stuff from automobiles to jewelry for auction.

I'll be handling customer service primarily, but will also be doing administrative work and dealing with quality control (product descriptions and such)

I may be sitting in the front office in which case, I'll get to stare at the gorgeous 200 gallon fish tank that's in the lobby - on my downtime of course. ;)

It won't be like working in a record store, then again, nothing is quite like working in an environment like a record store. It seems like a fairly laid back office. But it's definitely time for a change, time for a real job where I can actually make some sort of living.

Awww, hope you're feeling better soon!

Yeah, looks like I'm leaving the retail end of the music industry behind - I've left before but it has to be for good this time. I simply can't afford to continue on like this.

I've tried getting a job with some distribution companies (there's one called Super D that's close to home) doing data entry and stuff, but with no luck. Anything higher than retail is a hard industry to get into especially these days with company cutbacks and label mergers, and it's a hard industry to stay in. It's funny though, my old boss has the job I tried out for which is just as well. He needed to get out of retail and he's perfect for the position.

Just browsing around and came across "The DJ List", a comprehensive ranking of the world's DJs as voted on by site members.

The Chems pull in at a very respectable 29, behind a bunch of trancers (real surprise there, right?).

(Hernan Cattaneo is in at #12. Yer havin' a laff, right?)

Amon Tobin is only 2676 :( (anyway he's no so good at DJing, but he's a god at producing)

General Bullshit New Topic :

I was thinking of doing this like Concert in my school where you pick a famous group to do and you sing their song. Ive did it before, like two years ago its a bit like Pop Idol or something, cept its not globalised its just within our school. There is 12 acts of whoever wants to participate and whoever they want to do, the audience is all the locals families and friends.

When i done it i done,

Thin Lizzy - Whiskey In The Jar

Didnt get into the top three :P but i wasnt worried i was only really doing it to show that i could and for the fun of it basically.

The winners were

Westlife

Buttercup baby

and some eminem song :/

Anyway, its that time again when it comes up in our school.. i was thinking of doing it, this time do Rory Gallagher - bullfrog blues..

Then i had this crazzzy IDEA.. and thought id do a chemical brothers song.. but seein theyre not the type of music that you can actually sing to.. but then i remember Close Your Eyes and i was maybe thinking of doing that... be pretty crazy.. cept id have to sing pretty good :-// :P
