I think my total haul was around $250 CDN. Less if consider the fact I gave the $150 cheque my parents gave me because I owe them money.

Best gift: six-pack of Heineken.

Christmas kinda sucked. Boxing Day is the best though. I worked an 8-hour shift for nearly $40/hour, no one buys groceries on Boxing Day so I had no work to do, then I went out drunken tobogganing and got retardedly pissed up. Mentally so.

Hey Ben_j, now that you have 700 Euros, there should be no excuses about not going to NYE. ;)

Nice score on the lucky 777 Chems tix!

I got a digital/video camera which is pretty sweet. Oh, and Disney gift certificates for the whole family which will go toward year passes. Once again, I shall be down with the Mouse!!

This Friday stash and I will celebrate our anniversary a little late with party favors *eh hem* and we'll likely trip on downtown and later on enjoy the creature comforts *eh hem* of home. I'm hoping it will be a delightful blur. For NYE we're having a little shin dig with some friends and family at our house but of course my heart will be with you all at Turnmills!!
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

the presents i like the best are ones which someone has thought about it and got you something unexpected - like i quite like the mighty boosh (comedy program) and my ma had no idea i was into it and she saw it in a shop and thought 'oo that looks like the sort of thing tom would like' - and i did!

i spen most of the christmas sleeping, drinking and eating good food - very lovely it was too :)

people seem to do that nicely for me though often :P
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

Oh gawd!!

It's this time of year where I am so grateful I'm not working in retail anymore. If there is one thing that can turn a person off from Christmas for life, it's working in retail and being subjected to Christmas music day in and day out from Thanksgiving onward.

It's hard to believe Christmas is coming up so fast... again. I have no idea what my plans are or what anyone's getting for gifts...

Yeh I used to manage a cloths shop, I ended up hating Christmas. But now I work in a studio I'm starting to enjoy it again. The one thing I have got from my retail experience is I can do all my Christmas shopping in a couple of hours with a bit of planning. Still a bit early to think about though :)
