Finally site back up, and I guess myself and Ben have been proven wrong, it IS a compilation of the Brothers' tracks!

Tracks on this exclusive CD are:
1. Swoon (Radio Edit)
2. Galvanize
3. Star Guitar
4. Block Rockin' Beats
5. Close Your Eyes
6. Got Glint?
7. The Pills Won't Help You Now
8. Piku
9. Saturate
10. Surface To Air

I'm liking the list. Diggin' it even!

I'm probably gonna regret this but....

...I can get a few copies from a store near work on Sunday. I'll make an effort to get it for some of you and send it to you Gratis.

Conditions to that are: I will send the CD and the pages of the paper with the interview and any other bits and bobs I feel I can fit in the bubbly envelope- doesn't necessarily mean that it'll be Chems or newspaper related. The downside for those who want one is I am practically broke and I CAN NOT afford to post them until the 26th/27th of the month. Which, for those of you far away will mean you'll probably have Further by the time it arrives so think of it as a bonus of some sort.

For obvious reasons whirly gets first preference if she says she wants one. Will be back on tomorrow! G'night everybody!

Chem O'Therapy - That is very generous of you. I would very much like a copy of this. However, I would be happy to pay for the cost of the item and the shipping. Waitng for the package is not an issue in the least. My email is: satur8 at gmail.com. Please contact me if we can make arrangements.
Gonna work it out...

Hey, i'm gonna pick these up tomorrow. I'll go to work early so I can make sure to get them.

So far I'm getting one for
Inchemwetrust & Satur8 & Jacksrevenge, with Whirly undecided.

I'll get one for you (if they don't sell out, it'll be limited stock for an english paper here) if you post here or mail me before 17.30 GMT Sunday.

Once I have them I'll get in touch with each of you re: delivery.

I'm giddy with excitement about this, how many people go into a shop and buy 4 or more of the same paper at once?!

Their mums, of course!! ;)

I mean, if my son had a CD out in the papers I'd be buying every copy at the newsstand and telling anyone who'd listen "that's my son's CD!" haha

Didn't Danny Tanner do that on a episode of Full House where he bought every copy of Uncle Jesses' new CD? yes I just dropped a early 90s sitcom reference.

I'll take your word for it, Ryno! The only time I've ever watched Full House is when my son has Nickelodeon on while I'm folding laundry, doing dishes or partaking in some other domestic duty within ear/eyeshot where the tv doesn't require my full, undivided attention. tehehehe

Interview in the Times (Link)

Here is the early copy of the interview for us all to glory in. Complete with reasoning of NO COLLABS.

Quote

Rowlands would — sing it and they’d pretend it was a sample. This time, he sang on three tracks, and the Wisconsin-born singer-songwriter Stephanie Dosen backed him up. The words tend to be two lines — Rowlands, half joking, says they’re “mantras, really” — that are wonderfully succinct. “Just remember to fall in love,” he sings on Swoon, “there’s nothing else, there’s nothing else...”

That's TOM!!!! lol! I owe you a pint klingklong23. I was guessing it was a sample when it was first spreading around.

also, who is this mysterious Stephanie Dosen?

I'll do what I can to pick up a few more copies later today - will let you know how many I have, and between a few of us UK based people we should be able to supply the demand!

I've just been to eight different shops and NOT ONE sells the fucking UK edition of the Sunday fucking Times. But fret not just yet, I'm going border hopping after work, will head into the north and see if there are still some copies left. Fingers crossed folks.

Also let's petition to do away with the Irish Sunday Times, i don't particularly want a DVD of Blue Planet.

I'd better luck than Chem O'Therapy - managed to hoover up the last 6 copies, as well as my own, from 3 newsagents in the local area, and many confused glances!

Let's see how many more others get, and we can sort out the distribution...
