This is bizarre. I went to bed at 4 AM absolutely smashed and woke up of my own accord (no alarm) at 8:30 AM and have since showered, cleaned up, etc. and feel absolutely great.

I'm scared.

Time to get on the road soon hopefully for the road trip.

Dude, hopefully it isn't one of those false reprieves, where you feel fine for a while, and then suddenly fall down.

I hate that.

Yeah, especially as I've got at least a couple hours of driving followed by a bunch of hiking and drinking to do today. And I'm the only one who can drive my tempermental bitch of a car. Useless friends. X-D

I'm going to the red dot.

It's a town called Pinawa a couple hours away with Manitoba's first hydroelectric dam (built in 1906 and currently decommissioned) and we're just going up to enjoy a day of sun and beer and hydroelectric dams. :D

I hope the other two are still up for it and this doesn't turn out to be another 2:30 AM drunk decision that has no follow-through.

That sounds like a town Beavis & Butt-head went to in the movie

u said it.

i started smokin weed back in 95.

it started with regular scorin places in the city, but u know how u refuse to smoke crap like that once u'r a regular (almost perpetual) toker, and man enough to know the difference between just gettin "blown outta u'r skull" and "boomed beautifully out" on pure stuff.

then bout five years back i found the "real" stuff.

till then i used to still go very grinny everytime this famous musician best buddy from delhi used to tour here and get me lots of tolas of the "m a n a l i", or "m a n a l a", right from the source. hehe. but then i discovered this stuff after which manali seemed like pure shit.

vague far off remote place from blore i score it at, once in a long time, but i've had lots of friends from across the subcontinent and from far away foreign lands, even "the hardcore skunk and dutch" lands party on this stuff, and go our ole " OH lord i'm silenced". nothing crazy, or "u better to go to bed now" (no u fuckin CAN'T :P ), but u get the idea.

it's three places in this country : the REAL weed : kerala gold(the most hyped, good, but not the best), north karnataka, and andhra stuff. I get all of these here, tho i call it a good day if i drive all the way and find one of the latter two.

ah, enough pimpin this stuff, but if any of u guys ever visit here, let me pass u some stuff, just to see if i was not just pimpin, but believin. i want u to believe.

:D

:D :D

:D :D :D

p.s. chemreaction, how do u know blore?

Bang-alore is the shiznit from what i'ev heard. Beautiful Urban city with booming technology companies opening branches and what not....oh and not to mention hot indian babes. My long distant cousin works in Blore for an automobile magazine, well he parties more than he works(proof: his random drunken calls to US)

Anyways, i was born in India not in the dark south but the light north,Chandigarh to be exact...which is only second to Blore in terms of advancement, imho

Well, yesterday was deffo one of the best days of the summer. Went up to Pinawa in the early afternoon, got a hotel room, ate an unbelievable burger and ice cream in a restaurant located on a small boat moored up at the harbour.

Headed to the dam, hiked around for a couple hours, drank beer. Went to the suspension bridge, hiked around, drank beer.

Returned to the motel bar, watched the hockey game (Buffalo v. Carolina) with the locals and drank beer. Hit up the hot tub, drank beer.

Went for a late night hike along the lake, sung songs loudly and obnoxiously, had a philosophical debate about aliens and the nature of God, and drank beer.

Returned to the hot tub, drank beer.

Vomited a black sludgy tar out the door of the motel, passed out and slept.

Woke up and drove home, dropped Kevin off at work, grabbed a burger and a couple Caesars, came home, feel like dying.

I'm not drinking ever again for at least 5 more hours. Then it's Mike's birthday tonight.

The Burger Boat

At the dam

No, not Amsterdam, the Pinawa Dam.

Mike and Kevin

Watching hockey with the locals

Trying to light a cigarette using the table lamp. It didn't work.

I think we had a competition at some point to determine who could yell out the most profanities at the highest volume. Charming lads, aren't we? Fucking ballz!!!!

Also microwaved a woodtick. It actually survived for 15 seconds before dying.

I feel like shit. I hope we sit around, watch The Big Lebowski and drink White Russians tonight.

That's what we were saying. It would be wicked to paintball out there.

And the reason the dam looks all wrecked is because it was used for demolition practice by the Canadian military in the 1950s and it's a testament to the quality of the construction and design that as much of it still stands as it does.
