OK, this is my new project. I originally started this on a Daft Punk forum, but no-one there seemed to be very enthusiastic about the idea.

Its basically a remix album of Dig Your Own Hole. I waould like to gather fan remixes of every track from Dig Your Own Hole (and possibly a Loops of Fury remix for a bonus track)

I've made some rather crap artwork. And as of yet its unfinished. (The big empty space needs to be filled with all the contributors names)

If you'd like to contribute, just post a link to your remix here. When I have all the mixes I need, I'll put it in a zip file for download.

hmmmmmm interesting idea, it should be Push the Button though, that album needs some unnecessary remixes! just imagine what Surface to Air would sound like with with someone singing beatles lyrics over it... mmmm sacrelicious. then russians could sell bootlegs of the album and make millions!

Weren't there some loose plans to make another forum cd or is that now just a distant pipe dream? I'm not planning on contributing this time around but it would be interesting to see something like this come together once again.

I'm up for forum cd II. only something like a new chems album can bring everyone together on that level...

If people decide to do this, I really wanna do Dig Your Own Hole... though I dunno if I should do that title theme. Maybe I'll do Piku.

I already made a BRB Remix last fall. but this idea makes me excited and i might wanna remix another one as well :P.

Except, AFPD, you do realize there will be one track missing from the list: The Private Psychedelic Reel. That song is just fuckin untouchable. Anyone dare to make a remix of that and there will be hell to pay, haha.

Well, to be honest, I'm only looking for remixes of tracks from Dig Your Own Hole. Meaning no mashups or anything. And seeing as POAWF is from Exit Planet Dust, I dont think I'll include that.

Get Up On It has made some progress, but being that I'm still just a GarageBand nub and I don't want to screw such a good track up, it'll probably be a while.

And I'll have you guys know that DP fans aren't a bunch of Pop-Culture idiots who got into it because of One More Time. We have actual brains, maybe even more so because we don't knock ChemBros fans.

Yeah it would be pretty cool if we did all the albums.

Preferably without novelty names. We could call the whole collection Dig Your Own Hole: Re-Filled, as it's probably their most influential album.

I started last night on dig your own hole. This is just something I've done quickly and might keep going with. My big problem is I don't know if it sounds too chaotic. If it turns out it's too chaotic, I might scratch it and start over on it. I still need to tighten up the break.

what song do you plan to remix and what software or equipment you are using! MixMeister Fusion, Acid, Pro Tools, Ableton might be my choices.
