Will admit that Achtung Baby is a pretty good album. Q magazine did a cover mount cd to clelebrate the 20th anniversary of the album in 2011. I ignored it at the time but there are several decent cover versions on there. Particularly the ones by Jack White, NIN, Gavin Friday and these guys:

Spotted on an old Top Gear episode. Found some good music from them.
Bonobo is great. Maybe you should give "One Offs Remixes and B-Sides" a shot, if you haven't yet. There are some splendid remixes on that.

Saw 'em LIVE supporting Primal Scream at Brixton Academy last December. I got told off by a friend for shouting "got any LSD?" at the band during a lull between songs.
We made sure we got there in time to catch their set as Noel Gallagher and someone else had been raving about them. At the time I thought they sounded like Tame Impala, but of course Tame Impala sound incredibly like 'Revolver' era Beatles. So yeah, Beatles makes sense. As would Noel's interest, as he's obsessed with the Beatles.
They were fine live, but unsurprisingly The Primals blew em off the stage. The Primals are one of those bands where, if you've ever thought "hmm they might be good live", you should see them. Really.
Weirdly your Whirly Link to the album is blocked in my country. But THIS one's fine.

If you saw Tom tweeting "...did you actually drop the guitar?.." to N.O's Phil Cunningham, it was a reference to this song which was briefly (about 2 days) known as 'Drop Guitar'
