Go anType go!! Would love to see that site back up, even if it's not all that geeky - it was the ultimate chemical brothers music guide!

"The double sided vinyl was finally released just before the Chemical Brother's much anticipated NYE gig at the famous Turnmills in London, as a limited edition version for djs to use on dancefloors worldwide. Both have been received by fans to great reviews. Electronic Battle Weapon 8 at about six and a half minutes is very different from the mean big acid tunes the earlier battle weapons were, and is characterised by thundering dirty drums with a rising synth line, and has been one of the most euphoric tunes the Chemical Brothers have written in recent times. EBW 9 is the typical dirty heavy dancefloor stomper with the trademark Chems vocoder vocals and sirens to boot, and a very tribal basic groove. The Chems also dropped a new tune not released to the fans yet at midnight to bring in 2007 at the same gig at Turnmills and this tune is highly anticipated by the fans who heard it live. One of the questions with fans worldwide is whether EBW 8 is just an "on the fly genius piece" or does it define a new direction the Chems may take with the new album, as they've always been known to release albums which define big beat psychedelic dance music at the time, keeping them at the forefront of their genre."

Haha - posted that on wiki a coupla weeks back under the influence and forgot bout it! Checked it a coupla days back and it was deleted - checked again today n it's been approved n on! Haha, that's the first time it says just the Chems instead of the Chemical Brothers on the whole page!

Damn, now I feel almost embarrassed! Even the hmv line in the beginning was mine!
