The Russian Chems forum looks a helluva lot better than this one!

It's nice that the Russians have their own Chems forum!

No, this is the stew that whirly/stash told me about. Just finished. Holyshit it was good, but so much left overs!

Glad you enjoyed the stew, prochem! You should have invited over an army to help you finish it.

I love how it went from our russian counter-parts (Здравствулте! Русские Братья) That was probably the worst translation ever......To Stew.....

They got a nice site....but prochem has stew! Only thing that kinda sets them majorly apart is rampant availibility of downloads. At least they have an Ifolder that works some of the time compared to our ftp ....lol....I'll shut up now

good, it keeps those furry-hatted bastards off our site.

And Prochem, you can freeze the stew, like in single serving containers, and just pop one in the microwave when you neeeeed it.

I like this clean layout more than the generic phpbb-look-alike.

Also, no one wears a fur hat anymore. That's a souvenir for tourists ;)

I just wonder if their buzzed posting topic is better then our buzzed posting topic? They do have the better vodka....

Speaking of vodka! Moskovskaya is our vodka of choice. Moskovskaya is sold at this chain here called Trader Joe's, and it's a really good deal and a lot cheaper than Stolichnaya (I think the same company produces both, but I'm too lazy to go google and confirm). Anywho - mix that in with blood orange soda and you got yourself a nice buzzy drink that's quite tasty.

Just had a closer look at the Russian forum. I really do think it's cool they've got their own place to talk about the Chems and not have to worry about language barriers and such. Anyway, the chit chat seems to be steady going by recent posts and I like the member ratings. 3 star members are Freak of the Week, 5 star members with more post counts are The Duke. Cute!

Seems like there's some difficulty for those in that part of the world getting the iTunes b-sides though... :/

And they have avatars that you can actually see when you make a post. Yeah, we too have an avatar option, but do we see our avatar? Nay!

I still can't get it into my head that the Bros have left us with such a shitty site. Okay, it looks okay and I like the popular threads thing, which I use all the time. But come on, why can't we have a quote button and post pics (the ordinary way: [img][/img]) instead of the bullcrap we have to deal with now??? The tags option is stupid. Where is our admin? We have the same shit as with the last forum, except that this one isn't run over by spambots. But it still sucks.

Oh well, maybe they can get it right when the Bros release a new album, in about 2 years. Or maybe not.
