Because I was having such an awesome time I can't remember the exact setlist so I was hoping you lucky people that were there can help me out.
The best I could come up with/remember is:
Hey Girl, Hey Boy
Get Yourself High
Galvanise
Come Inside
Music:Response
Block Rockin Beats
It Doesn't Matter
Star Guitar
Piku
Believe
Out of Control
Got Glint
Surface To Air
The Golden Path
"You Are My Children Now" with the freaky clown video
TPPR
I know they played quite a bit from PTB which went down extremely well with the crowd - pretty cool considering the album was released only a few days ago.
Ed and Tom seemed to feel confident in the new material and "high fived" and hugged emotionally at the end of the show. They looked truly exstatic as to how the show went and it would be interesting to hear what they thought of the show.
Anyway if you can help out with the setlist please do so. Ed and Tom, congratulations, you guys are pure magic. Please don't ever stop making music.

I was at the show, right up front (chem talk:excuse me while I brag), It was the best show i've ever seen and I will never forget it. Thanks for posting the set list, there were some songs i didnt recognise, but loved. How good were the visual effects?
It was just brilliant. Everything about it.

Get Yourself High
Galvanize [thats galvanize with a z not an s ;-) ]
Come Inside
Music:Response
Block Rockin Beats
It Doesn't Matter
Star Guitar
Piku
Believe
Out of Control
Got Glint
Surface To Air
The Golden Path
Electronic Battle Weapon 7
TPPR
I cant remember the exact order but here were a few other songs that were played:
The Big Jump
Samples from Leave Home
Samples from Chemical Beats [YEAH!]
Hoops [Electronic Battle Weapon 5 or 6 remix]
by the way Piku was indeed v. v. cool wasn't it? It wasnt the groovy funky bit but the slowed down guitar bit at the end. Very nice.
I could have sworn they played more songs than that but i was in euphoria so i cant tell you much else!

I thought they were great but is it just me or do aussie crowds not know how to party?
I thought the atmosphere was a bit crap, not just at the Chemicals but all bands I went to see!
Sorry to any Aussies I might have offended 8)

Yeah, your kinda right. There were alot of people at the Chems that just pushed and shoved around and acted like wankers. They weren't there for the Chems, but there for the chems if you know what I mean.
I would loved to have seen them at the Horden Pavilion with all the Chems fans, that would have been excellent. That said, it's still the best gig I've ever seen. With that kind of audio visual experience you tend to just block out the crowd ;)

BUT!
We know how to party to the chems ;-) and i'd have to disagree with you, i think the party atmosphere in the Boiler Room couldnt have been much greater than it was! Still the best day of my life!!!

And I also reckon a lot of people were just there for the Festival as a whole and not there for a particular band such as the Chems. Meaning a huge piss-up with some dudes playing music in the background....
And don't offend me again!!!

Interesting comment, considering Aussies are known world wide for their piss up and partying nature. From where I was in the crowd (about 15 metres from mid front stage - left hand side) it was going off - everyone dancing, happy, singing, smiling and having a generally great time. Where you were must have been very different. Maybe your idea of partying is different to aussies? Can you tell me what your idea of "partying" is? I hope this hasn't come accross as being pissed off - I'm just interested in your definition of partying :)

The emotion, plastered like paint, on every one of the faces in the crowd was nothing short of insane. It must have been amazing for them to see this. There was just an enthralled mass of people begging for the moment to never end. There were two, rather minute, AV screens placed either side of the 'opulent' decks and I tell you what ? those audiovisuals had me guessing. But then, wait for it, the two screens drifted into the background as this GARGANTUAN backdrop opened up and?.the images? the visuals?the sound?.the feelings?inexplainable with words, invaded everyone?s conscious (unconscious) mind?.and that was only the first two minutes!!!
What followed was another one of their infamous live shows that pushed a few peoples buttons and helped others code their own. I recall one avid crowd sweater ask me (in downtime before the encore) ?So you having a good time?? my response ?Of course I am! I?m amongst family!?.
These two brothers are audacious, provocative and essential in this day and age and I am one, of many I?m sure, who are glad they have continued to carry on their pioneering ways and bring their expertise to the ears of the mass listener. May the reverberation of their minds continue to be heard for many more decades. Yes boys - Love is All!!

Well to be honest after living in Europe for only a year now one else know how to party like the people of UK and Ireland.
But yes it was abit dead there aye?
But man what a site it was AMAZING 8O "i couldnt believe it"
