I'm not a regular poster on this site but have been checking pretty much everyday for updates on Further and I am stunned by the response from certain people to the Camden gigs.
I was at the Roundhouse gig on the Saturday night and in the 10 plus times I've seen the Chemical Brothers I thought it was their best yet. I have been a fan since Dig Your Own Hole and was lucky enough to see them on that tour with support from Carl Cox in Dublin. Since then I haven't missed a gig they have played in Dublin or any of the festivals in the South and I have never been disappointed. I also saw them at the start of the WATN in Rockness a few years back.
The visuals really fucking blew me away and the new album sounds incredible. My only complaint would be that it could of been longer but that just shows how good it actually was. I'm sure Horse Power will become a permanent staple in future chems sets. I really thought this was the highlight of the whole night. As for the best of set the full use of Noels bit in setting sun with out of control really blew me away.
The gig was a 10 out of 10 event and anyone reading this who didn't make the gigs but will be lucky enough to see them this year, brace yourselves because you really are in for a treat.

Hehe....well I'm, in the bunch who weren't so blown away but now know it was a chowcase and not so much a show. I can live with it now. Should get to see them again anyway.
And tt did feel very short, but we've sorted that niggle out too.
