hehe, glad you liked my very wordy review, mario. And yes, I did leave out Block Rockin' Beats. Dammit, leaving it out was unintentional, I swear! I knew I was missing something (or a few things for that matter) in that mess of words... But yeah, Block Rockin' Beats is a show stopping foot stomper that had us all bouncing up and down! My head is still buzzing from Saturday's events - it's just too much, and if I'd had more energy I could have written a lot more.

It's been so long since I've been out to a rave, especially a massive like Nocturnal Wonderland. So I was actually quite surprised the rave scene was still thriving. Walking into the event was like stepping through a portal in time, and all of a sudden it was 1994! Ah, it was great - I felt so normal by comparison, haha.

Carl Cox was really quite good and he put on a great set, communicated with the crowd and got everyone rolling. His set sounded very old skool, taking me back in time. I admit I wasn't paying as much attention to him as I should have been. But in my excitement, and with a short while before the Chems took to the stage - that kinda took precendence over everything else. I was so jittery and excited up to the final moment before hearing No Path To Follow, very little else in my surroundings existed.

mario it would be fantastic to meet you some day and you'd be welcome anytime if you ever find yourself out in Southern California!

awwww that girl asking for salmon dance was like me asking for TPPR back in oakland. doe eyed, sad.....at least I got a New Order set after, and a hot chick.

from now on with forum meetups I suggest that we should do an after 'party' just for the hope that tom and ed (and eroll if around) will possibly stop on by.

Thanks Consumer and Gillenium! :)

Ryno, I was the same with Private Psychadelic Reel too - not this past Saturday, but the first 2 times I saw the Chems they closed with Sunshine Underground and The Test. Still absolutely amazing to hear those live and the sets at Coachella were incredible and I have no complaints at all, but I wanted the Reel so bad! They ended up closing out their set with it at the last Coachella I went to. I, erm... I kind of got emotional. I know it sounds morbid, but when the song started I, in my slack jawed and flabbergasted state, turned to Daniel (ElectronicBattleWarrior) and told him I could now die a happy woman.

Oh the memory!!

hehehe, yeah - that's stash's favorite t-shirt! It elicits a response (either a laugh or a look of disgust) everywhere he goes when he's wearing it.

I barely have any worthwhile pictures as I was too busy going nuts and trying to safeguard myself from the audience, but I youtubed the only video we took. It's brief, the audio kind of blows and was taken when Bosco was getting his picture with Tom and Ed. I hope it's OK to post it here!

gave his mop a chop,
Old man hairstyles are a flop.
