Next week the Chems are coming to Europe mainland. I'm going thursday 24th in Amsterdam and saturday 26th in Cologne. Support act is DJ James Holroyd. Does anyone know this guy? I've never heard of him. Everybody who's going next week enjoy the show(s) and I'll see some of you guys.

I believe James "Boggy" Holroyd is the warm up dj of choice for the Chemical Bros as he's dj-ed on most of their live tours.
He's also resident dj at Back to Basics in Leeds UK and for Bugged Out since 1993. See here for more about James and confirmation that he's the Chem's tour dj.

james holroyd did an essential mix back in 2001 thats well worth checking out!! highlights for me were:
Reflex - Put Your Hands Up (i remember him droping this a couple of times on the come with us tour)
Metro Area - Miura
Masters at Work - Work (definately one of my top 3 tunes of 2001!!)
Gusto - Disco's Revenge remix
Chunk A Bod - Chunk A Nova
Harlem Zip Code - I Feel Music
FC/Kahuna - Mindset To Cycle (i love pigeons!!)

"boggy" is the chemical brothers tour DJ. he's with them on most tours. good guy but on late gigs it's a mess - doors at 7, music from tape at 7.30, boggy at 8 until 9.45, tape music until 10.30 and finally tommorow never knows JP rmx and the chems... too much time to wait for them :( but it's worth waiting, you know...
