How does it work exactly? Never bothered to spend any time on this one but a few friends have gmail accounts and I'm getting curious about it. How do I create my own account for example? Checked out the site but all there is is a login name and password thingie...

the only way to get a gmail account is to have a friend who already has one send you an invite.

i've been invited, so as soon as i decide to make an account(the emails been sitting in my inbox for over a month), i can send invites to all you peeps(if you want)

it's good. i use it so people send me picture's or clips or music on it.

I was like that at first but you really should! It's brilliant; loads fast, has 1GB space, sends fast and is very reliable. I also love the cool feature of shortcuts of gmail like pressing the key [c] on your keyboard to compose.

I think it takes a couple of weeks, Slipvin. When I got an invite and opened up an account, I was able to send my own invites pretty quick...

The one thing I dont like about g-mail is that you can't send html emails. That probably wont anoy most people, but I've programmed my own random-color-a-second JS font that I want to show everyone. I love web design, best-class evar. :x
