I do not think it had anything to do with the Israeli astronaut.
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

*I meant to say that I don't think that he had anything to do with it and that I feel terrible for Israelis who are at a loss & are going to be blamed.

Well, after all the Space Shuttle still is a transport vehicle. Maybe a bit faster, more expensive and better checked than your usual bus, train or airplane - but still a transport vehicle. Just a matter of time.
Still, sad for the astronauts and their families. :(

Yeah, the whole event is so sad. Perhaps some positive can be gleaned in that they were testing the bounds of human ability in order to make the world a little better place? Although to be honest I really don't know what they were doing in space this time around....so maybe I'm full of sh_t???

I remember just after 11/9/2001 when these tactless assholes were selling t shirts on the streets of New York that "Evil must be punished". :x
It seems that after every tragedy, ther's always some "people" making money (or trying to make money) out of it. :x
