Fellows, I count 23 spam topics here.
This is a problem. And it needs fixin. Is there ANYTHING we can do? I mean it seems we have more spambots than active members here and it's really angering me. Furthermore, there is no visible end to this. It's just going to get worse unless we figure out some way to fix it. I mean I know it isn't very visibly damaging, but I'm pretty sure it contributes to a general PO'dness and xenophobia. As fans, I think we need to try to keep this place clean so the bros' forum doesn't turn into a fucking online pharmacy. I mean I'd probably rather have a complete forum reconstruction than putting up with this shit for ...ever.
Please use this thread to plan a solution to the goddamn problem.

This is something i am used to, Mods are doing there job just fine. They can't be around here ALL the time you know...i wish they would but it's just not possible...deal with it! they'll eventually stop by the erase all the spam topics....

Eh, sorry. But everytime I visit I see this stuff. I mean I'm not complaining about the job the mods are doing in the first place, just saying that maybe we might need some kind of solution other than just deleting whatever pops up.

Virgin must still care about this site, the website is a powerful piece of marketing, plus they pay for it's maintenance on the web. Therefore, I believe that if enough of us complained to them, they'd look and do something about it. I've got no idea where to get the e-mail address though, if anybody can think of a way to get it, I'm all ears!
