Wow indeed. Glad someone shares my opinions of Jonas Brothers and Coldplay, but, honestly, is "God Hates Fags!" at all the right message? Erm, God's not gonna hate someone because they're gay. Last I checked, that's not in the bible. I'm very much against homosexuality, but that site (Gateway Bands?!? Lol.) is taking things just waaaay too far. If the current youth of the world is impressionable enough that simply listening to that kind of music will lead them to make that kind of lifestyle choice, I fear for humanitity.

This is almost certainly a joke. If the creators of this website were at all serious they probably wouldn't be hosting their "safe" video from Funnyordie.com. Plus, if you look at the host page you can see a bunch of ads for obviously fake products (like "GayAway Gum" and "Fat Fag Faith Food") with the subtitle "Purchasing God's Way!".

I believe Whirly is right--there is no real justification for such opinions that is cogent without appealing to some natural/divine law, but who is to say what that is for certain? Perhaps the Bible defines what is natural--but that would lead to such absurdities as the tolerance of slavery, of beating one's slaves to an inch of their life just so long as he/she does not kill the slave. And on what authority are we to believe Jesus is the true profit over any other alleged profit? The answer is faith, but faith is arbitrary, and it does not make good grounds for justification in the belief in what is not natural nor what is good.

Anyways, I'd like to end my rant now. I hope this has got you thinking Whitenoise. If you do have valid and sound philosophical justification for your opinion, I would be interested in reading it.

Also, as an aside, I do not believe that Tom and Ed would at all agree that the hating/disliking of any group of people is alright--they are very much about "Love is all", that love should be for all groups of people, and the withholding of love to any general group of people is not what they are about.
