the problem with chem songs, and no one take this as an attack is that none are really romantic, none I can think of off the bat, asleep from day is the closest I could think of to fit the situation.

(just to add on) since obviously you're prob not aiming for romantic I'd say star guitar since that's just a damn good dance tune

Cool. she sounds awesome...

Suggestion: the sunshine underground
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

Congratulations on getting married - it's a rollercoaster but well worth it. Anyone else on here engaged or already married or am I the only one??

Anyway - It's your call but if I absolutely had to pick a Chem's tune as a first dance tune... I'd go for something slower and save the energized songs for later once the alcohol *really* starts to kick in hehe. I really couldn't think of an original Chems tune to be honest so I'd have to go with their remix of Spiritualized "IThinkI'mInLove" instead. I'd save the fast, really 'up' tunes for afterward where everyone can join in. I think Hey Boy Hey Girl would be a great song to get the party started after your first dance (and the part after that where you might have to dance with your mother-in-law.) Then again, this is just my opinion. *shrug*

Good luck with all this! Great to see you and your wife are on the same musical plain!
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

Hmmm... The State We're In would be good. It starts very slow and (almost) romantic, and later on it kicks into the beats of Denmark. Perfect moment for all your guests to join the party.
