Saw these guys a couple of days ago and it was freakin awesome. They dropped Under the Influence like 3 tracks in and the place went nuts! Then 30 mins later they dropped Acid Children and again the place went crazy. I didn't really like Acid Children that much, but hearing it over a massive system, it sounds excellent!
Also saw Plump DJ's which were somewhat less impressive, but when they came to the end of their set and everyone started cheering, all of a sudden Galvanize comes in and the place erupted!! That song is huuuuge!
Anyways, respect to these guys for dropping chems tracks at an otherwise Mylo "Feel the pressure" and Blur "Song No2" remix 'centric event.

Soulwax is their band,an off shoot sort of another project, its a live band.
Yea i love that CD they got some mad skills!
I briefly saw them at homelands last year, not very impressive 2be honest. But to be fair it was near the end of their set and you do have to hang around to properly get into the tents atmosphere and the djs style to properly enjoy it.i think we were still buzzing from Groove Armada or Morillo anyway.
Check out there website and watch the video for E talking its hilarious, we can all relate to it in 1 way or another, things we've seen or done!!!
That tune has got some quality remixes from tiga and rex the dog
Radio 1 DJs have been canning it recently

the dewaele brothers djing as 2manydjs is just amazing. they've invented bastard-pop-mash-up-mixes, definitely. just a pity, that there are so many bad rip-offs out now.
IMO, their main band, soulwax, is one of the most underrated bands at the moment. the indie-scene knows them quite well but, unfortunately, not the mainstream. and if there was a band who'd deserve to have heavy airplay rotation and massive sales it would be soulwax

taken from the 2manydjs website tracklisting bit
below are all the tracks that didn't get the final approval-stamp.
most of these artists on the list refuse to clear their copyrights for any compilation-record whatsoever. some of the names aren't really surprising, others might raise an eye-brow or two.
maybe it's only a case of 'protecting their interests' but maybe they're also headstrong and greedy? or is just plain snobbery or jealousy? you be the judge of that.
beastie boys- body movin?
beastie boys - intergalactic
beastie boys - sure shot
grr would love to have heard them on a mix!
mr. oizo - flat beat
what a tune! i love it
phoenix - if i ever feel better (buffalo bunch remix)
great french house
but shockingly of all.......... :(
chemical brothers - hey boy, hey girl
come on guys!!!!!!!!!

yeah 2manyDJs are pretty good at the old mashin up eh? there are quite a few of their mix albums (bootlegs) about, 9 i think, maybe more now, great what u can do with a 909 eh?
there are much more than 9. a guy in the US puts another one with every month stating the name 2manydj's. as the artwork looks similiar to the official 2manydj's release one quite a lot of people think they're official though they are not. the dewaele brothers know about that (the guy sells them at eBay and his own homepage) but agree with that. :-?
love is all.

so they know about this and it's cool with them? i see on that site that they advertise the use of soulseek too
yes. in there opinion it is okay to copy their dj sets and give them out. they are not too happy with money-makin that way but it's okay with them
love is all.

Just ordered my tickets to see them play Canvas in april, be wicked if anyone else in the forum could make it. Bloc party will also be djing at the event, plus many others.
Ive just ordered a copy of Niteversions. I am wondering if the bloc party remix album is worth getting hold of.
Also does anyone know where I can get the official Radio Soulwax cds? I once saw them in HMV but there were about 25 each.
