jacksrevenge, i read your post a bit back on the burst generator full version...needless to say, i was intrigued! i would be satisfied with the salmon dance for the next single though. i do like other tunes off WATN a substantial amount more, but they aren't "single" material, ie saturate and the pills won't help you now--if that makes sense?!

Can anyone remember a song that polarized the hardcore fans as much as The Salmon Dance? It seems that in general most of us collectively agree on our favorite or least favorite tracks. Can anyone remember a song that sparked such a vocal "love it" or "hate it" debate before this one?
I'm not talking about it as a choice for a single. I'm just talking about the sound of the song itself and its inclusion on an album.

left right was a fuckin powerful song compared to the salmon dance which is way lighter.
left right was fuckin heavy! the bass on that is mad, the energy is killing!
damers - yep - the one i have on vinyl has a proper end - another 30 seconds - but a very pretty end - makes it a complete experience. will put it up one of these days when i can figure out a converter for my two channel vinyl out to go into my creative soundcard.

Salmon dance is a rocking tune, but the problem I have with the video is simple. That ain't no salmon. I wish artistic license would stay within the realm of what is...actually is. It's like a song called the "Doberman Dance" and we're going to put a bunch of dancing chiuhaha's in it.

It's only grown on me since it had its release, but I have to agree, it's one I skip! THe album is awesome, but it doesn't seem to fit in on WATN. I thought All Rights was going to be the next single, I hope it's the 3rd? Track 3's are usually released off chems albums. Elektrobank, Out Of Control, Believe...

I haven't been able to find the Salmon Dance single in any shops, and it's really depressing. I want to buy from a shop, dammit! I want to have it in my hands, go up to the counter and pay for it, then peel off th wrapper as I'm walking to my car, pop that sucker in and blare it as I'm driving off. I don't want to buy it from Amazon, it's just not the same! :(

Interesting Whirly! I know what you mean though ;-) It's a novelty buying it and getting in the car and popping it on.

With regard to AONG from the Prodgigy, or Mr Howlett and guests, I see where you are coming from in respect of it sounding like it had been rushed! Maybe so, but Liam is a man that is diverse and forward thinking and as I said earlier it was very fresh sounding, and he clearly had an idea of how Spifire for example would work live.
Maybe it shouldn't have even been a prodigy album? I Regard it as Liams solo debut in my eyes and don't even consider it being a Prodigy album, from which point you have to look at it from a different angle.
