Post here anything you failed at, and share your lonelyness with us :)

I failed at calling my new girlfriend, I called the girl that was just under her name on my phone, and I realised only 30mn later that I was talking to the wrong person...

Ouch, Ben. Ouch. But it's not a complete failure... unless you were whispering sweet nothings into the other girl's ear and your new girlfriend found out.

Hmmm. I failed at seeing the Chems in 1996 when they played Organic. :(

I've failed at other things too. That's just the first one that sprang to mind.

either your quite the ladies man or you must have been pretty shitfaced to have not noticed Ben.

This is kinda embarrassing.... I've failed to properly fix my car for about 2.5 years now. It's been sitting in my parents driveway taking up space. :( However, the good news is, I might get a local high school to repair it via their auto shop class for a small fee.

when children are fixing your car for a small paycheck, it is 'child labor' ....

when children are fixing your car for a small fee that goes to the school and the child is paid nothing, it is 'learning'

Nicely played Bos!

My failure -- Not making it to London... or traveling at all recently for that matter.

for my defence : on a phone, they have quite the same voice. A friend of mine did worse at NYE : he scored with a girl, then hugged another one, thinking that she was the first girl, kissed her and all, then said "oh ! you have a tattoo ? I didn't notice that before ! ... Oh shit..."

I failed at not getting my girlfriend something cheap for Christmas, so that when she lost it I wouldn't have cried.

I've failed at getting a job for the past month and a half. The economy is so crap, theres no work anywhere. I really gotta do something before I completely run out of money.

This summer I looked for work but nobody was hiring around here... and THEN shit hit the fan. I feel your pain, prochem, but probably not as much as you.

In my junior year of high school I failed a semester of Spanish. I was placed in too advanced a class and they wouldn't let me switch out of it. I think the teacher felt so bad he passed me the next semester since I felt I did even worse.

I have failed at:

Selling my spare car for the past two-and-a-bit years

Straightening my sleep schedule so it resembles a normal human being's (sleeping pills should not be needed on a semi-regular basis at 4 AM)

Finding a girl who can interest me for more than five minutes (and who are not either unavailable or sleeping around behind my back)

Raising my grades over the past three years

Gaining any sort of discipline at all

Posting on this forum on a regular basis

:)

prochem and androidgeoff - the economy has failed you, not the other way around. It's tough as nails and scary as hell out there.

Failed at Math six times in my years of school but I still know linear combinations and exponential functions for some weird reason.

Not bad, man. I'm incompetent when it comes to higher mathematics.

I literally flunked my way through math my entire school career. It's not something I'm proud of, but I'm really shit when it comes to numbers. It was so bad that in high school, the principal arranged for me to take a computer courses in lieu of algebra because my math grades were pulling down my GPA.

I hate math so much, but have great admiration for anyone that is good with numbers.
