I have read a lot on MDMA, much beyond the links you listed and that which can be found using the Google, and indeed, while it has stimulant effects, it's not classified as a stimulant. As Jittem noted, it has psychedelic effects, too, but it's not classified as a psychedelic.

There are a lot of politics surrounding the label of "stimulant," and it's fitting for speed, methamphetamines, cocaine and crack. Yes, I'm arguing semantics, but I'm a huge proponent of using MDMA for personal growth and connection to other human beings. Getting MDMA away from hard, useless drugs in any capacity is a good thing.

Andy really, having a term which connects the drugs with one another which aren't anything like one another is like saying that Thai food is Italian because it has noodles.

It basically activates the area near the the center so MDMA might not feel like a stimulant to some people. . . . . . . Anyways ! I checked out that Banana video. For some reason I'm never able to watch anything off of you-tube. You have to sign up with them to watch anything off them first right ? But I can listen to stuff off there site for some reason.
