what happened to your old account? you used to have well over 2-3000 posts and most likely would have this feature available (that is, if the feature is decide by post total)

He don't need no music sheets,
but with a snip-snip-snippy-snip
gave his mop a chop,
Old man hairstyles are a flop.

i also do not have the option "member title", weird. does that something have to do with pushing my post count back to 0?!

btw: how can i insert a picture to my sig?! *noob*

Looks like you found out how. A signature should not be more than 200px heigh and 600px width though...

hmmm thats a good point actually, i had around 1700 posts i think, its most likely a feature you get after 100 or 500 posts...might contact a mod to see if my post count can be fixed....

Defined a little more formally, "escape velocity" is the initial speed required to go from an initial point in a gravitational potential field to infinity with a residual velocity of zero, with all speeds and velocities measured with respect to the field

It would be nice to elect a forum Moderator in addition to the ones we already have. There is quite a bit threads that need to be moved around and whatnot, and it would be nice to have a spirited moderator at hand.

Not sure if I'm speaking too soon or speaking out of turn, but there's features and stuff in my account that weren't there before, so I guess the powers that be have graced me with the pleasure of manning the Modship Lollipop, lol Thank you!

Please please please admins do not bozo my whirlygirl account again like last time, or I will cry. Boo hoo.

So unless something changes (and I'll let y'all know) I am at your service and at your disposal. :geek: Just let me know by posting or leaving a message on my profile what you'd like to have moved or whatever and I'll be happy to help.

Did you have an old account from the PTB-era board? I just found out I could use my old one, so I recovered that one, and now I'm once again non-n00b.

Nope!
Didn't have an account at that time. I just snooped around! I pretty much got my knowledge on everything chemically related on that forum!
Plus I wasn't into 'forums' back then! I regret it now though!

Now for the review!
The Chronicles timeline is pretty cool. I love the way you can click on the audio timeline and it pulls all the related content. For example, click on 2005, and you get a video collage of all the shows that year. The 'Live' feature pretty much is the Chemical epicenter, as it combines the tweets, plus the user profiles of Last.fm in the game of 'who's going, as well as the gig map that outlines the Chems path of destruction. The Chemmunity (clever name) is similar but adds all the user vids, pics and more on the google map.

The forum is just f*ucking awesome in every way! It's more user friendly, more options, and the improvement of the customization of user profiles and postings. (I could go on forever) Extra points for the search feature and the music player. More importantly, the forum is clean and streamlined to every detail freakin detail! Everything from the nicely laid out tabbed menu to the easy-to-navigate homepage. Top-to-the-bottom perfection in my opinion.

So overall, I'm very pleased with all of the hardwork that the coders and designers (and those other two guys!) have gone through to make this possible. So with that, i'm giving this CB site 5 stars!

I don't think inchem had a PTB-era account. A lurker, yes but not a member yet.

I think you're on to something. Going through older posts it appears people that registered during the We Are The Night era lost their post counts. That would include folks like Jittem, Satur8, inchem, my whirly account, etc. Their pre Future era posts are intact but those posts are logged as Guest, and those folks member profiles (on the Guest posts) aren't accessible if you try to click on the name. It's so strange. Then there's Irishfan. He's been here ages and yet he's logged as a guest also so... who knows.

One thing I remember that tripped up the PTB-era transfer to WATN-era is if there was an apostrophe ' in the username, those accounts were inaccessible. That is why my husband toomuch'stash made his makeskidskill account. He's now able to access his old 'stash account.

@ chemdup - didn't you used to have an account with username chemd'up?

For what ever reason when i put the ' in it says invalid username. So I took it out and it works fine.

Good to see you're a mod again whirly!! :) hopefully my post count gets sorted soon! So glad the chems finally have a board worthy of their status! I wonder if miloco2forum or banthechampagne spiller will surfac with any words of wisdom!! :p

Is it just me, or do there keep appearing to be changes which are helping things along and fixing things? Like, I see Whirls is now "Staff." PRETTY AWESOME!

::thumbs up to forum admins::

Hopefully peoples' post counts got fixed.

The smartphone interface is SO much more easy to work with now. Thank God.

One suggestion I thought of was on the main page of the smartphone-style forum where it lists the recent new topics. It would be great if there was an additional list of most recent posts, so that active threads which aren't new will be brought up in a nice little list so you don't have to poke through each section.

And once again, many, many thanks to those responsible for this awesome new forum.
