Despite the playground rumors of the tour not being confirmed. The chems are scheduled to play McCarren Park Pool in Brooklyn NY on 9/22, the day after their Hammerstein gig. Tickets are on sale the 10th. Show includes Ladytron as rumored, should be fun watching them play on laptops :x anyway, tickets are $44.00 on ticketmaster

Oh my, I had a funny flu/cough syrup induced dream a few years ago where the Chems did a poolside gig and the crowd were ordered into the pool before they'd play... :lol:

Anyway - you lucky peeps getting 2 shows back to back. Are the 2 venues relatively close together?

pretty much maybe a 20 minute subway ride from manhatten or driving from central jersey. 35 minutes to manhatten and 50 minytes to brookklyn deppending on canal st. traffic

As long as any two shows are within the 5 boroughs it is close as you can get to anywhere from anywhere for 2 bucks.
