It's good to broaden your electronic horizons. ;)
Well, Fatboy Slim is an obvious choice for big beat type music. It's more party type stuff, very much geared to the dancefloor - not as bombastic and hardhitting as Prodigy, and not anywhere near as melodic or diverse or textured as the Chems.
Stuff with a more melodic approach, check Underworld, The Orb, Orbital - those are all good choices that should round out your ever growing music catalogue. (I'll leave the recommendations to anType here who is an Orbital nut)
A new artist I've been giving an ear to lately is M.I.A - a cute, sassy Sri Lankan Londoner with a flair for flaunting politics and sensuality in her music. Very ecclectic with world music flavors tossed in and hard, deep throbbing bass to rattle your speakers - the bottom line is that it's fun and about carrying on.
On the trip hop tip, you can't go wrong with Massive Attack. Their record Mezzanine is just sexy as hell - warm on the bass and dark driving rhythm and melody makes for a sensual record. Also check out Portishead too - Dummy is a great record and the woman's voice is is proof that fragility and subdued strength can go hand in hand.
Goldfrapp is great too. Another sexy album called "Black Cherry" is a really good album. Very synth-y, Alison Goldfrapp's voice is just perfect for the good ol' bump and grind this record offers.
Good stuff to chill (good comedown music as the husband and I call it, hehe) is Air. Their whole catalogue is great, very warm and relaxing tones with a futuristic-retro feel. I'm partial to the dark quality of Air's score for The Virgin Suicides, but Moon Safari is ace as is Walkie Talkie.
Just started getting into Ulrich Schnauss (many hugs to Jeanie here for her enthused recommendation) who employs gorgeous melody and texturing within the structure of his music. More on the ambient side but it's atmospheric and captivating and has the ability to transport you to another place.
I hope between me and pink shoes, you've got a good start!

Hi getyourselfhigh! (your nickname reminds me of something.. errr, can't remember... anyways.)
I could spend the next four hours talking about the albums I love, but I'm lazy. So I'll focus on what you're asking, i.e. more info about some good big beats tunes/artists.
I definitely have what you need! There you go : http://www.discogs.com/release/194919
This compilation gathers some great big beat productions. It's a good start imo.
Then, of course, go check the first Fatboy Slim albums, if it's not already done.
And I'll add a bit of Fluke, especially the album Risotto ( http://www.discogs.com/release/3456 ), fantastic stuff! Slipvin wouldn't contradict me.

and check out the Propellerheads Album "DecksDrumsAndRockAndRoll", awsome!
or try The Crystal Method'sfirst album "Vegas".
And if you're looking for some Skint productions, you'll find some nice artist and stuff.
There's a website out there which i can't remember right at the moment but i'll have a look at my favorites (i'm not at home). It's a swiss big beat radio where such related stuff is being played . . .

sorry Ben_j i don't agree with you concernig BRA's second album. It's very pointless at most of the moments. Bedlamicly compiled pieces of music, very noisy without any drive. I was dissapointed about that, 'cause their first one was great . . .

You're right, their first album is better, but i really like tracks on FYEO :
Theme from Gutbuster
Madam Your Carriage Awaits
Barry Normal Eyes
Do the Christmas Rush
And i agree with u : Propellerheads' DecksDrumsAndRockAndRoll is great, so is Dive! EP (i was so fond of that Adidas ad with Dive! for music)
