Has anyone here read any interviews with the Chems where they describe how they make their beats, cos they are so amazing! Anyone here with Cubase/Logic/Reason that's tried to program their own breaks will know just how damn hard it is to make beats as good as the chems do!

YEA! I know exactly what you mean. I have a technique.. I record myself tapping or playing on drums, and lay samples down visually. its a big effort, but its really satisfying to hear the final product.
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

Heres a production tip to get fat as fuck drums.

I'll use just the kick as an example. Take your original sample and copy it twice now eq one of the samples and compress the other leaving the original alone. Now mix them together however you see fit great for fat as fuck drums. Oooo I've sworn twice :-//
