Yeah i got the same dilemma. Can anyone connected with the brothers confirm there wont be an extra manchester date before i pay silly money for tickets on ebay!?
Also can anyone shed light on how 4 brixton dates and one in brighton can be justified whilst only one in manchester and one in wolverhampton cover the whole of north england? :?
WE WANT MORE CHEMICAL BROTHERS!

Err, excuse me, but seated is quality. Many advantages:
1) Your own personal space, rather than doing a sardine impression
2) Quality view of the action
3) Everyone stands up and dances when the Brothers come on anyway
4) A seat to sit on when you're a bit knackered after 90 minutes, and before the Brothers turn up as the warm-up act is always crap.
Ok, you might argue the atmosphere isn't as good as standing, but you'd be surprised how much the atmosphere feeds up to the seated area, I much preferred seating at the Chems in 2002 than standing at Orbital this year.

i feel that it very much depends on the band your seeing and the venue. for example last night i went to see Muse at Earls court, its a fucking huge venue for those who havnt been there i was standing which was cool but due to the size of the venue unless your near the front standing it is sometimes hard to get a good view, therefore maybe seating would of been just as good. at a small venue like pompey guildhall i would prefere to stand due to it being easy to get near the front. However the style of the music depends on what which would be better to seat or stand, i wouldnt wna sit at a chems gig cause i would wna be in the middle of it all.

Festival seating is great but when you're short like I am, you tend to get squashed. Sometimes it's downright violent. I have to have my tall husband stand behind me just to keep me safe from the throngs of people pushing foward.
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle
