I saw them in April, at a festival.
Hmm. Maybe they'll shuffle things around a bit, just for variety's sake. The set changed a bit from when they were doing the pre release tour to when I saw them a few months later.
There are a few people from here who are going and the Marlay Park gig and this show is one in a multiple number of shows they've seen for this tour. Each show, from the reviews I've read here, has varied in some way. So perhaps things this time around will be a bit tweaked/different, a bit more varied too. Who knows really. But it's hard to say, especially from where I stand because I've seen them 1 time this tour and don't have other gigs to compare it to.
Just be surprised, and enjoy yourself!

Rest be assured you are seeing them on their best tour yet. These versions they are doing of the new stuff plus all the classics are the best I've heard them do. The set list is pretty much perfect although Star Guitar is starting to sound a bit tired in its current format IMHO. Its probably the only track they haven't changed much since 2002 other than TPPR of course.

For any first timers, I have this to say:
I saw the Chems for the first time in March in Dublin, Point Depot. I had seen footage over the years of their live sets, heard some of their sets and was always well impressed. I had been to see some of the big dance & DJ's acts over the years, Prodigy, Faithless, so kinda knew what to expect atmosphere wise....but nothing and I mean nothing prepared me for the Chems live.
Un-fcukin-believable!! I'll be there tomorrow bopping away with the biggest grin on my face even if it is p*ssing rain as much as it is today, i'm actually a bit envious of the first timers coz nothing beat that unexpected first beat being dropped in the opener Hey Girl, Hey Boy.
To everyone going....have an absolutely brilliant (&safe) time!!
And for anyone, like me who's seeing Underworld / Basement Jaxx the next night .... enjoy the weekend!!
Whaaaaaahooooooooo!!!! :D

was at the marley park gig, hate to say it but was really disappointed... was at their point gig earlier this year and it was awesome. don't know why but they were really kickin off and the crowd was starting to go really wild then they just finished. no encore or let down, nothing. every one was holding a little back for the encores and they never came. alot of people were booing left people feelin pretty let down. :(
