Everyone has their frustrations. This thread is purely to vent!

I'll start.

I had to work nearly 70 hours last week, worked until midnight on Sunday, and knew that I was still expected to be at my desk by 9 a.m. on Monday morning! :-(

A bunch of my friends got sick and I had been hanging around them, I knew it was coming. So I spent the next day being a blob, vitamin C, chicken soup, and sitting around but it cam anyway. I spent all night awake throwing up. It's been like 14hours now and I still feel like crap. Then I found out that I have a job interview tomorrow. Grrrrrrr.

Sorry you've been so sick, prochem. :( It sounds like you got it pretty bad. I hope you're feeling better in time for your interview tomorrow!

He's playing in Paris in a week, but I was too slow and it's sold out :'(

Thanks guys, but it hasn't been getting better. I've been un-employed for months now and finally when I get a chance, I get sick. Hopefully they'll understand.

More venting from me: I ate at Quizno's today and I felt like throwing up afterward. The two dollar off coupon did not make up for my nausea.

Quizno's is just wrong. I was never a fan of their sandwiches. "Mmm-mm-toasty" my ass. It's like heartburn in your hands. The final straw was when I was pregnant. I was at the mall and my supersonic sense of smell went into overload. I kept smelling what smelled like body odor. Really bad, hot-summer-day-forgot-the-deodarent body odor. It wasn't until I walked again past the Quizno's a short while later that I realized the body odor smell was actually coming from Quizno's. Blech. I haven't been able to eat at a Quizno's since.

Anyway - what the fuck is up with this 40 below zero business in Minnesota? Damn that's too damn cold! I wish I could send some warm weather out that way. One person dead from that so far. What a crappy thing to see when I first log on to the internet... :(

I don't wanna pay 50€ to see Vitalic. And I may be living in Paris, but I think Vitalic did as much live sets in Paris as the chems did in the last 4 years... I didn't mind being too drunk to remember one of the 6 or 7 Modeselektor concert I've seen, but Vitalic is quite rare, even in Paris.

I'm so frustrated right now because: I cannot find a high quality release of a Christina Aguilera track! I never thought I'd say it, but her new song during the credits of The Spirit called "Falling in Love Again" is really good downtempo. And something I'm desperately seeking.

Anyone with their dark powers of the net have a HQ somehow? It seems impossible to find...

Alas, if it were only that simple. The link you provided is actually the LQ (Low quality) recording that some one recorded in a theater. You can hear talking and sound quality is pretty poor in comparison to the real deal.

But thanks for the link forumadmin! Perhaps someone else has dark internet powers that has lead them to the HQ recording? :D

My girlfriend of 5 years dumped me. I can't find a job. My car is making a weird noise. It's too cold to run, so I'm getting fat. I hate everything and my life is in the toilet.

Aw, man! You get the award for "most shit hitting the fan." That's definitely shitty on all counts.

I would say the best thing you could do for yourself is focusing on the running or other exercise--endorphins will help you through a tough time. This also has a great side effect, too: you gain more confidence, you get in shape, and then you get laid. ;-)
