Saw them last night up on the hill near Berne. Words fail me. It's a shame their time slot was fixed from 23.45 to 1.15. I wish you could buy live sets on iTunes. I wish you could buy DVDs of live sets. I wish, I wish, I wish...

Welcome aboard. And I'm glad you also like the Chemical experience.

And don't worry, something tells me we can expect a live dvd of this tour in the near future...... 8)

I have a dream... a dream of a live double dvd of the Chemical Brothers. On the cover: The Chems' silhouettes behind the consoles - Ed with a raised fist and Tom leaning forward doing his "We give you this music, accept it and rejoice!" gesture with both arms raised. On disc 1: their favorite gig (hopefully at least two hours long) from the moment their introductory muzak starts all the way to the chanting dying away after they leave the stage. Commentary? Yeah, all of it (Tom: "Watch the crowd go ape s*** as they realize we're about to launch into "Hey Boy Hey Girl""). On disc 2: the bonus material: their most memorable and tweaked-out mixes, largest crowd, technical glitches, maybe some sequencer-style graphical rendition/explanation of how Tom and Ed went from "Under The Influence" to "Come With Us" via "Loops of Fury" (e.g.), interviews and whatever else fits on a DVD.

Is this what the near future looks like? :D

Hot DAMN, _mel_ !!! Those pictures are smokin!

They are downright beautiful - it looks like you must've been right in front of the mixing board because everything is so centered perfectly.

Very very nice. Thanks so much for sharing them!
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

And just imagine the mindblowing acoustics from where those pics were shot... I was about 80m from the stage (and slightly off to the left) and thought the sound (in quality and volume) was bloody brilliant.

yeah! great show!!

but not as good as the last show i've seen @ SonnemondSterne last year.

the first part of the set was incredible! no time to chill or relax. i stand (jumped) 20m in front of the stage. sounds was at beginning to quit. but hey...its switzerland...100db is max! unfortunately, the chems didn't play "the private pychedelic reel". its one fantastic 6min trip! anyway..."star guitar" was a huge experience for my brain during the concert. great!! reeeeeeel great!

thx _mel_ for the brillant pictures! i love it!
