as for mips....that may be the next morning for me but in the middle of a snow covered farmers field. Good Times!
@nlaknip, Tokyo on NYE would be fun I'd think.

I know I've already commented but.....
I've got my birthday I have to still worry about in a few weeks (27th). NYE is still a ways away! but then again both may be exactly like mippio describes.

I just think that we had "We Are The Night" last summer, then the filler that's "Brotherhood" this month and they have also done a fair bit of touring since last May. And now they maybe producing MGMT's new album. So I think EBW 11 around Sept/Oct 2009 and new album Jan/Feb 2010. God I hope i'm wrong.

@Mipps: That's probably the most depressing thing I've read in like three days. COME TO THE STATES! You know, shack up with some old woman who is about to die and then have her give you all of her money when she croaks. Then you'll be set, and you can come party with me and Alexis. You'll need to do this soon, by the way. ;-)
I'd love to hear some new Chems music by next year. :) God we are such demanding fans.

you're all a bit optimistic about when the next album will drop! i think the earliest it will drop is mid/late 2010. be realistic its gonna take at least 18 month to write and record.
and i believe the reports that the chems are producing mgmt's next album are just over overzealous journalism. a think its more likely one or two tracks. they are going to be too busy recording chemical 7 to produce an entire album for another band.
