Today, like usual, I spent my time in the second hand shop in the city, and having a earlier posting still in mind, I asked Olli if he had any albums by Beth Orton.



He had, so I bought myself "Central Reservation" today. From the very first vocals on you just have to recognize this voice. Beautiful songs, very different from the collaborations with Tom and Ed (obviously). Guess I got to get the other two albums as well.





If a jazz/lounge album can rock, than this one definitively does.

There is collabration with Chems on the album? On how many tracks ?

they produced the title track "daybreaker"

They did, but on the album "Daybreaker". There are some other Beth Orton albums, unfortunately without the Chems. But this voice... hmmm... :D

Now if the big bad moneybag will be mercyful next month, I shall get some of the other albums as well. Amazon sells the album before "Central Reservation" for 8 ? only.

Blaaaaaaahhhh....I will suspend all my negative sentiments towards the man and say that would be alright.....He is a musicial, he parties alot, he likes animals...now that I think about it further that would be real kool.
